  1.

    Hello,

Well, after reading all this im super scared to use nizoral, i'm just looking for daily shampoo that will replace Head&Shoulders that im using now.

No need anything with DHT blocker or something like that, just shampoo that won't have tons of chemicals that hurt the hair.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

  2. Thanks for your comment!

How about regenepure shampoo for daily use? or Baby Shampoo?

I just heard that h&s are really bad for daily use and I have been using it for over 3 years...

It's time to switch and not sure which should I take since i read so many bad comments on each brand, wonder if someone here can suggest 1 brand for daily use and I will go for it.

    Thanks!

  3. Hello guys,

I have been searching for couple of hours already and it seems that there's many different comments, some say to use Revita daily, some say Nizoral, some say it's bad to use them daily and just twice a weak, so I wonder, which shampoo should I use? Or maybe I should have few and mix between during the week.

Right now i'm using Head and Shoulders Shampoo and it seems that I have an agrressive hairloss, So if you have any suggestion i would like to know, Thank you so much!

P.S - I haven't done HT, just daily shampoo for regular MPB Hairloss.

    Thanks!

  4. Its hard to tell if they are able to get 3000 grafts from your donor but I think it could be close. I agree if you take this route then they should take your whole donor available because its makes more sense to use them in the front where needed then leave them under a scalp cap.

I would also consider smp but you should probably have to smp your donor as well because it seems very thin there. I suggest you consult to many recommended doctor and get their opinion. Dr. Koniar is a very good doctor but nothing better than getting more opinions from other doctors.

If my hairloss was like yours and I would ever consider a hair system I would only do it with hair grafts in the front.

    Hey Lorenzo,

There's no reason to do SMP because I will have hair system behind my back also, the system I wear is for the entire head, like this :

That's why I meant to take the entier hair I have there and just place them at front :)

I don't care about the scars or anything that will be because of the surgery, as long as I have a new hairline of my own hair.

And yes, I will ask more doctors about this and get theirs opinion :)

    Thanks! <3

  5. Daniel let me get this right. You want to transplant the transplant hair in the hairline and wear a system directly behind it. I have seen this done and to be honest it look much more natural having transplanted hair in the first 1-2cm of your hairline and a hair system in the back. It look much more natural than having just a hair system. The biggest issue with a hair system is how natural the hairline looks. If done right and possible it does can look very good.

I had a friend that had it done and it gives him much more options to hair styles and as long as the hair system isn't too thick behind the transplanted hair you would have no idea.

    Hello Lorenzo,

Thanks for your repyl! YUP I know it can work and look amazing, I'm wearing for 20 years, there's no way to tell if someone wear hair system if he has his OWN hairline, (Of course he needs high quality hair system, perfect color match for the blending). as long as he does that and it's 100% archieve able than with his own hairline it just looks crazy and impossible to tell.

The problem is that my donor as you can see in the photos is not great, that's why I want to take my entire hair at the back (Even in the sides), to have 3000 grafts to re-build my temple points\hairline. Since i'm wearing Fullcap hair system it shouldn't be a problem by me to take the entire hairs there and leave me bald in the sides and back.

(Full cap is hair system for the sides and back and not just a topper for the top).

  6. Daniel,

No my friend, I was not implying that it could not be done, it is more an issue of the permanency of your donor hair.

From the photos, you may not have suitable donor that would last and then you are back to square one and out a lot of money.

I guess if I was in your situation, I would consider a top end full system.

    Thanks guys for your reply,

My donor is the same for over 20 years already, and didnt lose a single hair by then, is it a good sign?

And yes, i contacted dr.konior, he said its possible but in 2 session, any reason why its not possible to take 3000 grafts in 1 session if i take everything from there? Or it can damage the grafts if takes too many in 1 time?

This surgery is really important for me and i know i will do it but i also would like to hear what you guys think, after all, im just asking to build a new hairline and nothing else :(

  7. Honestly, this is something you'll have to ask a hair restoration physician, by the picture you provided I just don't see much hair, it could be due to the length though.

My concern is that you'd be disappointed with a hair transplant because you're chasing perfection and hair transplantation is FAR from perfect. Let's assume you are able to get 2,000 grafts and transplant a hairline, the hairline may still have some gaps and it would not be even close to the density a system could provide. Even going to a top doctor there is no guarantee that your result would be what you're expecting. I would personally not risk it just get something that's 99% perfect to 100%, you may end up going from 99% to 80% but either way I would still advise you to visit some hair transplant doctors and get their opinions.

Hey man and again, thanks for your detailed response.

Honestly, when I look at your results, they are more than perfect for me. Since my expectation are high I requested to build hairline only since I know it would be impossible to cover anything with my donor, I have seen crazy results with 2000-2500 grafts that made an hollywood hairline, I was thinking to go with Doctor Raymond or Doctor Rahal for this kind of produce, even if the hairline would have gaps (Which I truly hope it won't), I can always order hair system that will match the hairline destiny, but yes, I got your point, right now the doctors mentioned that I should fly to their clinic since it would be impossible to tell exactly how many grafts can be taken in 1 session from the pictures.

I must ask, even after my long research, I still don't understand why there's limited of grafts per session? I mean, If I don't care about scars, or how my hair will look at the back (Can have zero hairs at my back, i dont mind), why can't take everything in 1 surgery? It can cause a trauma to the grafts or anything like that?

    Thanks!

  8. I honestly don't see how they could take 2,000-2,500 grafts from your donor, you are older at 48 years old I don't see a problem with what you're requesting, but I also don't think it's possible unfortunately.

I don't see your donor being able to provide a worthwhile hairline even if they take every single hair. You would definitely need to go to a hair restoration physician first and get their opinion as to whether or not your request is possible and can be accommodated. It could be the lighting and the length of the hair that is skewing reality. Another issue that I see is that your donor hair may not be DHT resistant, so you could end up eventually losing the transplanted hair, so basically you'd go through surgery and waste money for nothing, if the system looks good then i'd just keep it, don't fix whats not broken.

Thank you so much for your reply!

Well, since i'm norwood 7, I have something called retrograde alopcia which made my nap thin, the hair behind the ears and even my donor area, but that was 10-12 years ago, by now I haven't lose a single hair at my sides\donor. All the hair I have now are strong (They are thinner then they used to be 25 years ago, but they are not going to fall since they are the same for over 10 years).

When I see photos of patients that have done a surgery with 2000-3000 grafts to fill their crown for example and middle scalp, it seems that they have less hair then I have in my back, the fullcap looks great but the hairline doesn't look 1000000% natural, it does look fine and I 99% of the people wouldn't notice, but i do want to have it perfect, and for that I need hair transplant in front the system ;(

  9. While it is certainly not the norm, you probably can find someone who would take your money and be willing to do it.

I would not recommend it simply because you might feel differently in the future and then what is done is done and cannot be reversed.

Well, I have been wearing for 20 years, I know for sure that i'm not planning to stop, i'm 48 years old, so I know exactly where i'm going for, I have gaveup on many things in my life to be able to wear the system without let anyone know im wearing, this is something I always wanted to do, my question is just if it would be possible to do this due to my poor donor area, and actually just take graft by graft from the back and transfer it to the hairline,

So, does it possible to take 2500-3000 grafts according to my picture?

    Thanks!

  10. If you take all the donor and put it on top, you'll have an odd looking head. You could consider smp for the back of your head, or body hair into the donor.

I doubt any surgeon would commit to what you're suggesting.

I think you didn't understood what i mean haha

The donor area wont be exposed, since it will cover with a hair system (Wig),

The reason I want to have transplanted hairline is because I will be able to have natural looking with the full cup system,

    This is fullcap :

    https://www.google.co.il/search?q=fullcap+hair+system&biw=1366&bih=623&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiH3dj-xKPOAhUJXRoKHZi6CIAQ_AUIBigB#imgrc=AGR4YCOMgvfYfM%3A

So basically none of my area will be noticeable, i have been wearing for many years and I won't stop, I just want to upgrade it and they my back hair into my hairline, just want to know if this kind of produce is possible if I take FUE for example and asking the doctor to take graft by graft and just take everything from the back, or what ever is nesscery to have 2500-3000 grafts.

  11. I'm no expert, but your donor does not look like it could sustain that amount of grafts. It may be a poor picture, but it does not look strong enough for an HT.

I'll leave it to the experts....

    Good luck.

I have seen photos that people have done a produce with 4000 grafts into their top of their head and they had less destiny from my back, so if I take my ENTIRE hair at the back, it wont be enough for 2000-3000 grafts? (Not regular surgery when you take amount of grafts and make the donor stable, just take everything from the back and place at the front).

    Thanks!

  12. Hi everyone,

Some background, I used to wear Full cap Hair system (Which is for the entire head and not just at the top), I would like to take 2000 grafts out of my donor area, and place them into my hairline to archieve 100% undetecable look.

As you can see, my donor is not thick, what I want to do is actually taking 2000-2500 grafts via FUE (I don't care about the scars or anything, I just want to transfer from the back to my hairline, my question is, Does it's possible to do this kind of surgery? again - i do not care about scars, I'm norwood 7 for over 25 years and the entire time I wore full cap which means I'm not planning to stop in the future.

I attached a photo of my back, would like to know what you think, thank you so much!

  13. Daniel,

The more pronounced shedding from the initial use of finasteride is a good thing IMHO. And many docs will inform you that the shedding is a good sign that you are responding well to the medication. Many of the follicles retreat into the resting phase and why the shedding follows.

Like any other resting period, the follicles tend to rest for approximately 3 months and then re-enter the next growth cycle.

So while it is a bit unnerving to see the thinning of your hair occurring, eventually it will thicken up but this time effectively inhibiting the nasty DHT that was destroying those precious follicles.

Hang in there and be patient Daniel and it will pay dividends for you...;)

You made me so happy!!!!!!! I seriously started to freak out, I didn't know what's going on since I was taking it for only 30 days and during forth week I noticed that my hair sheds even more.

I wanted to stop taking it from today but after reading your comment I will continue, I barely could sleep and had tons of stress in the last week because of that, I even started to take pills against stress.

So i'm very glad to hear your comment, do you know by the way how long it will shed like this before the shedding may stop?

    Thanks a lot my man!

  14. Hey guys, since i'm norwood 6\7 I also suffer from retrograde alopecia which means thinning around the ears/nap area and even a little at the donor area.

Basically almost everywhere at the sides/back of my hair, Does Propecia will help my hairloss at those areas?

Since after all it's MPB, I do want to keep that donor area as thick as it is now so i can do hair transplant in the future.

Just want to make sure that it actually can slow down or stop the hairloss at these areas?

    Thank you so much!

  15. Thanks a lot for your response!

Well, I'm sure I have it though, I'm 21 years old now, im shedding real bad at my nap and my sides, I already lost my entire hair on the top of my head except few hair that you can see at the photo around the crown.

Norwood 7 doesn't mean totally baldness at top? :o

I see my father, and all his 5 brothers, They are all completely bald, they all became bald by the age 26, they still have hair on their sides but its thin though, his donor area also doesn't thick as it used to be 30 years ago, but it's thick enough i guess.

And what do you mean by " donor evaluated "? If I go to see a doctor like Hasson and Wang, they will be able to tell if the hair that being transplanted from my donor area won't shed in the future?

    Thank you!

  16. It is going to limit your donor for sure and if you were requiring a large session you might be advised that it would not be possible to acheive the results that you are hoping for, however 500 grafts into the temples will most likely be possible even with a NW7 and retrograde.

    All the best.

    Hey guys,

Here's photos of my donor area, i do have you can see some thinning behind it, I also thin at sides, I'm basically shedding everywhere except my donor area although I know that i will shed there too in the future but there will see be hair remaning there.

I'm looking for 500-700 Grafts MAX, just to fill the temples point - Please note- i'm wearing hair system so no need to fill anywhere else.

    Thank you!

  17. Hey guys,

I'm almost norwood 7, thinning all over the sides\temples area and nap.

Seems that the donor area is still strong.

I need ONLY 500 grafts to fill my temples since i'm wearing hair system so i'm not looking to have any transplated hairs into my Hairline or crown or whatever

    Just 500 grafts in temples.

Is it possible to do that if you have retrograde alopecia? Some people say you can't do HT and some people say it just limited your donor area.

Would like to hear what you think,

    Thanks in advance!

  18. This is the best hair piece I have ever seen. I want to know where it was ordered and how he makes it look so great. I have decent hair but I would honestly shave my head to have this. It's absolutely perfect. So Daniel I sent you a PM and I am now asking publicly, will you please share with me/us where you bought this? That is better than a hair transplant

    Hello man,

Honestly the hair piece is decent, I mean, it is high quality, but it just cost about 200 USD including shipping to my country.

I order it directly from the factory,

There are few kinds of bases, theirs lace, skin : (Injected knots or V-Loop), thats it basically.

Mine is injected thin skin, which is the most natural scalp, just like woman hair, I'm wearing for 10 months already, my entire friends saw me\ family\ people at work and even my ex gf and no1 could tell.

But there's something you should know, if you go to local stylish he won't put afford and won't put attention to things that may bother you, since i'm cutting my own hair since i was 10 i had the skills to do this my self and im sure i do it better than any other stylish since i spend over 8 hours to cut it and make it perfectly and undetectable.

There's also something you should know, you can't expose your hairline, no matter what base, and no matter what people would say, you can't brush it completely back and expect it to be 100000000% natural, it's just impossible and that's why i was thinking to do 2k grafts at the hairline and put system behind it, that way i can have my entire head with hair which is super natural and no1 can tell anything and then with the hairline i can brush it back, but that's the future hehe

Anyways, I have read about hair systems about 3 years ago when i was 18, i did a lot of research and ordered online and started practicing on my dad head before i had brave to shave my head haha, i got to this forum :

    Northwest Lace - Discussion Forum

You can read the forum and see, you have all the information you need to know there, my user name is Stavys2, we can keep on touch there and i can help you in what ever you need.

But before you even thinking to do this, you better spend many hours at reading and see if it works for you, the reason i took this is because I knew that since im norwood 6 almost 7, i won't be able to have the hair i lost with hair transplant, and I just wanted full head of hair, not thin or decent amount of hair, that's why i went to this routin, you will see many results at this forum, some are not natural in my opinion and some are really natural, but none of them went as short as I did, most of them atleast 2 inches length, mine is just 17mm lol

    Keep in touch!

    P.S that's my thread there :

  19. Daniel,

I wouldn't suspect finasteride would help much in these regions. The question is whether or not it would be worth it to "give it a try." There are a lot of differing opinions about the medication and its side effects. If I were you, I would try to consult with a doctor who has a lot of experience with finasteride patients. Discuss your specific hair loss with this doctor AND undergo an evaluation in person, and really get a good hold on whether or not the potential "pros" outweigh the theoretical "cons" for you.

Glad the system is working out for you by the way. It does look quite good!

    Hope this helps.

Hello everyone, thanks a lot for your responses,

The problem is that in my country all the Doctors here are awful, I have went to the best one here, they all seems like they don't know what they are talking about, some of them told me I wasn't balding (When i went there 4 years ago), some of them gave me some crappy shampoo that didn't help at all, I acually received more information at this forum than anywhere else.

I want to take propecia not just because of my nap hair, also for my temples and since i'm shedding at my sides, as I have read, for norwood 7 is very common to thin at sides, lose the nape area and the temples, so i believe this is also MPB? Just the latest stage, am I right?

If so, then it's may worth it to try it i guess, and lets say I lose my nape hair and some temples, it won't be a problem to transplant those areas right? I mean for fully temples after i lose them i won't need more than 600 grafts and for my nap, i don't mind if it will be thin since i can always fill it with Toppik, so about 1500 grafts would be ok, but i have never seen hair transplant going to the nap loool.

Would like to hear you, thanks!

  20. Hello guys,

I'm 22 years old and already almost norwood 7, i'm wearing hair system and I love it, i have no problem with it and i'm very happy BUT, since I'm shedding a lot at the back\ and sides i know i'm going to lose my temples which means my hairline won't be low as it is now once i lose them.

So my question is, does Propecia can help to save my temples hair\back nap hair?

Even for future hair transplant for my hairline\temples and put hair system behind it, my father and all his 6 brothers are norwood 7 and had retrograde alopecia, some of them have thicker hair at sides and some less, all of them have remaning hair left but it's thin, so my question is, Propecia can help for sides\back hairloss?

My brother which is 18 years old on propecia for 2 years already, he started at 16 (like me, yeah horrible genetics), and it seems that it is actually helping him

I took propecia my self and i thought it didn't help me since i kept see shedding, i guess it probably delayed it or something but it didn't stop my shedding for sure, even after 2 years of taking it.

wonder if for my nap area and sides\temples it can actually help better, here's photos of mine with the hair system, my temples are good but i know it won't last for long and that's why i wanted to ask :
