  1. Hi T-TYPE,

Harrison85 voiced his concerns. Both Dr. Bhatti and I apologized to him and assured him that he will be taken care of. We promised him that we would make it up to him. I also admitted that someone from our Clinic side seems to have dropped the ball and that we will make sure that that does not happen again. Dr. Bhatti asked him to call him so that he can answer any questions/concerns that Harrison85 might have. We believe that perfection does not exist in this world and as with everyone else, we realize that there is room for betterment.

Not sure how else we can "address" the concerns that this Patient shared.

    Best regards,

    California

  2. Hey Shera,

Do you know of a USA Rep for Dr Bhatti. I am in Florida. I have emailed him with my pictures and inquired about his services without luck. I am sure he is busy. Also, I did not go through a rep...maybe he prefers this as a intro and early question/ answer screening method to make sure people get early questions and concerns out of the way and know what they are entering into.

I have never had hair restoration and have never researched this or been through a consultation.

    1) What is the basic difference between FUE and FUT?

    2) How does one prepare the hair/ scalp in the months proceeding hair restoration?

    3) How long before I can return to work after surgery?

Thanks for any help you could offer

  3. Hi Harrison85,

Thank you for choosing Dr. Bhatti/Darling Buds for your HT procedure and for putting your trust in us. We promise you that we will not let you down and will be supporting you every step of the way towards a successful HT journey. Thank you also for candidly sharing your experience so far.

Since it seems that you were left with a feeling that you did not get the attention that you deserved, please accept our apologies. Will not try to justify the obvious lack of communication but for whatever it is worth, when people from different cultures interact, sometimes the communication suffers. That said, there is an obvious room for betterment/improvement here.

I know for a fact that Dr. Bhatti gives an utmost priority and importance to his Patients and has made it very clear to his staff that they are supposed to do the same. The protocol and process is laid out and has been made clear to everyone. With your feedback, we will make sure that if anyone from our side dropped the ball, that does not happen again in the future.

Our goal is to make the HT experience pleasant for our Patients and make sure that they leave our Clinic with good memories. When our Patients return home after their HT procedure, we make sure that we stand by them to support them in any way we can. We are always just an email or a phone call away.

We will try our best to make it up to you.

    Best regards,

    California

  4. Hi Dragonfly,

Please don't stress too much. We will surely get to the bottom of this and will make sure that you are taken care of. I personally don't think that ethnicity would play a role here.

Good news is that you are communicating with Dr. Bhatti now and he is staying on top of this.

Again, please feel free to reach out to me anytime with any questions and/or concerns. Always happy to help.

    Best regards,

    California

  5. Sorry to hear about your experience with AK Clinics. I am also a badly done case from this very same clinic.

Can you guide me how was your experience after revision?

    Painful?

    How much cost?

    Is revision hair transplant safe?

    I don't want another failure.

    Hi Satindersooch123,

I would highly recommend to research your HT Clinic/Surgeon as much as possible. This Forum will provide you a wealth of information.

Regarding Dr. Bhatti's pricing structure, all the details can be found on our website. Here is the link:

Hair Transplant Cost in India, FUE Cost, Price

Basically, INR (Indian Rupees) 89 per graft which equates to approximately $1.32 per graft (USD).

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Best regards,

    California

    thanks

    Hi Dragonfly,

I am glad that you are in touch with Dr. Bhatti now. You and I had been communicating with each other via private messaging on this forum last year. At that time you had mentioned that things were progressing well with your HT. I too had not heard from you since then.

At Darling Buds (Dr. Bhatti's) Clinic, we take the satisfaction of our Patients very seriously and are always ready to do whatever it takes to help our Patient's reach their realistic HT goals.

Please note that we are just an email or a phone call away.....always happy to help.

  7. Just wanted to share the update that Emirates is starting a direct flight from Dubai to Chandigarh, India from September 16, 2016. Until now, the only way to get to Chandigarh was through New Delhi (either a domestic flight or a cab from New Delhi to Chandigarh).

With this new connection being introduced by the Emirates airline, the travel logistics will get a lot more simpler, convenient and less expensive. For example, folks traveling from California can take the route- San Francisco- Dubai- Chandigarh.

  8. I have a question for california, sorry to the original poster but say if a person traveled to india for the UK got a procedure done amd went back the very next day.would you still recommend spraying every 20 mins or hours on the plane journey home because getting up and going to the toilet every 20 mins or 2 hours would look a bit dodgy no? or is it ok to give it a miss for the flight home.

    Hi Wwizzkidd,

So if a Patient is flying internationally the day after the procedure, we would still recommend spraying the recepient area every 2 hours while travelling. Do keep in mind the fact that we are talking about a very quick 2-3 sprays that would not take more than a few seconds. Don't necessarily have to even get up from your seat each time....as is, most folks tend to either sleep or get busy with some form of entertainment on the long distance flights and probably won't be noticing all the actions of the person sitting next to them. Also, they do turn off the lights in the plane after the meal. Bottom line, I believe that it is doable.

    Best regards,

    California

  9. Agree with all the comments so far. This is what we ask our Patients to do immediately post-op:

    1. Spray the grafts at a minimum of every 20 minutes on the evening after the procedure till you sleep and every 2 hours, the next morning onwards.

    2. Spray antiseptic three times a day (once in the morning after the shampoo and after drying, second in the afternoon after lunch and 3rd time in the evening after shampoo and after drying). This should be done from arm’s length away- (at least 2 feet).

    Best regards,

    California

  10. Today, we present another patient that decided to have his hair restoration with Dr. Bhatti at Darling Buds in Chandigarh India. This patient had two surgeries before coming to see Dr. Bhatti, both of which were FUSS (strip) surgeries performed outside of India. The donor zone was left with wide scars and the recipient zone experienced poor growth.

Dr. Bhatti and the team at Darling Buds worked carefully to restore as much hair as possible while preserving the integrity of the already compromised donor zone. Working around previous FUSS donor scars can be difficult as the primary goal is to avoid revealing the donor scar(s) with normal moderate hairstyle lengths. As you can see in the photos the donor zone still looks good.

In some patients the key to success is to have patience. Repair patients usually wish to fix the problem as soon as possible, more so than virgin scalps, because they are seeking to rectify the mistakes by the previous clinic in addition to the issue of hair loss that had them seeking restoration in the first place. It is the repair patient that must have the most patience because they cannot afford to have more undue damage. For this patient, we performed two procedures which you see today and he is visiting us for his third procedure for final touchups, some additional crown work, and overall density.

The video will be presented soon

    More details:

This 32 years old man received 2 FUT procedures in a western country. Large, wide scars with a poor growth.

2013- Corrective procedure using 2050 scalp grafts and 250 beard grafts

    2014- 1056 scalp grafts

Now - filling of right side of mid scalp to balance density with left side and also the crown that had descended.

    California

Each HT Clinic will have their own pre-op and post-op regimen. At Darling Buds India/Dr. Bhatti's Clinic, our post-op instructions state that the Patient can resume his/her normal sex life 3 nights after the procedure is done.
