I went to get a perm solution comb through to smooth out and straighten my hair 4.5 weeks ago and u fortunately the 12 minutes they left it in and combed it through was too long (I’ve done this before and didn’t have this issue) and a ton of hairs got damaged and broke off due to the nature of the perm solution and my hair has regressed quite a lot because of it. So now I am waiting for hair to grow back before posting more. But given so many hairs fell out it’s gonna take awhile.

I messaged dr wong about it and he said it can take 6-8 months for it to go back to normal and it will most likely be fine. It’s cuz so many hairs fell out, takes time to regrow, but then also hairs go through the resting phase every so often as part of their normal cycle and take 3-4 months before they even start regrowing again.

So for all of the hairs that fell out it’ll take some time for them all to come back. I imagine there was not any permanent damage since even using nair on body hair which literally dissolves the hair does not damage the hair follicle below and cause permanent loss.

Curious to know what is this perm solution comb?

    Care to elaborate?

    Hello Good Morning,

Kindly help with the direct number of consultant for Mumbai.

I understand corrective transplnt i have to get it done through Dr.Priya Das ?

I also want to confront my existing Doctor for ruining my hair , money and time .

Any guidance on this will be helpful.

For corrective Hair Transplant at Eugenix you can get it done from any doctor not necessary Dr. Priya. It depends upon your budget.

Eugenix have various price packages starting from INR 75+ taxes.

For more clarity, It's better you take a face to face consultation from them.

Regarding your existing doctor please avoid him if he offers you free surgery. Try to get refund if possible..

    Hello,

I did my hair transplant from Navi Mumbai Kharghar by Dr. Bhavesh Gupta. Kindly make awareness to all the patients as much you can that not to go in this clinic .He has not  only ruined my hair but also broken trust of being a doctor.one of my friend also consulted same doctor but he was not convinced and went to other clinic and had sucessful tranplant.I still went ahead and trusted doctors word.

    Below link of his clinic.

Dr. Bhavesh Gupta | Hair Transplant Clinique - FUE & FUT, Hair Transplant surgeon in Navi Mumbai https://g.co/kgs/VcMZe7

    Tranplant Date - 27th December

    Grafts - 2300

Per grafts cost - 30 INR

For correction I have finalized. Kindly suggest any good in Mumbai .

Dr .Suneet Soni ( Medi SPA )

Dr .Tejinder Bhatti ( Darling Buds )

    Dr.shail Gupta ( Satya hair )

    Eguneix

Eugenix is the only clinic i will recommend in Mumbai - India.

For correction please avoid Dr. Tejinder Bhatti. He is not recommended in our forum any more and recent experience of @Shadman was really bad!!

No idea about rest of doctors but my small advice, please don't jump immediately on your next procedure, first research nicely. This will be your second Hair Transplant so make sure you have done all your homework.

You can also explore options outside your country too.

Do remember we have finite Donor Hair!

    Lack of skill and knowledge

Most of these clinics are tech operated or the doctors are clueless idiots wanting to cash in on hair transplant industry. Or they are just fake doctors and quacks.

Very unfortunate! Hence it's very important to do research before Hair Transplant.

India does have some good ethical doctors though.

Dr bhatti didn't take any post op photos like Eugenix. They hurried the procedure. And after the procedure they just send you to the hotel. But I will attach one picture from the folder. And yes, as you said main issue was low survivability of the grafts. A major portion of the grafts didn't survive.

And as I said, from right side of the hairline 100 grafts and left side of the hairline another 49 grafts were removed. Among those 149 grafts  there is a chance of 20% or more might regrow, because currently those hairs might be in the telogen phase.

And yes, styling would play an important role. I will require your styling tips on how you use sea salt spray.😃

I'm attaching a picture of my donor which was at 2 months mark. You can clearly see that left side was completely over harvested

This picture was taken after two months of my previous failed procedure March,2020

Dam the donor really looks bad, I am kinda shock that the doctor who was recommended few years ago over here has done such kind of procedure. I am glad he is no more recommended.

  6. That's a quite detailed write up and The new Hairline design and grafts placement looks good, I wish you very best ahead. I am curious to know why they needed beard grafts? Wasn't your donor sufficient?

I am quite shocked to see such a poor work from your previous Hair Transplant , care to share how many grafts were used in your previous Hair Transplant? (Apologies if I missed it)
