  1. thanks every one im sure ive made the correct choice ive been looking at reviews for a year or more now!! but cold feet is a killer. but i cant go on like this any more enough enough!!!! im in the process of booking my flights right now as i type. i cant wait for this nightmare to be over. thanks for all of you for reading and posting........ i wish you all success with your own battles. i will of course be carrying out a blog and photos of my time with hasson and the results
  2. just wondering ahead of surgery in canada how i can smuggle my head through the airport and on the flight with out looking like a odd ball! any tips or procedures you guys used would be great! im flying in and out from the uk
  3. Ive booked a HT with Dr Hasson hopefully in july!!! my story im 25 and live in the uk i started going bald at 21 and it started as a coin sized thin patch just behind my fringe. since then it has spread and now the whole front 1/3 is so thin i cant hide it any more. concealers have been a god send. but now there is no exscaping or hiding it!!! i had surgery with dr rogers of westminster medical group a year ago and it didnt make a difference! my scar thank god is very tidy but he damaged my native hair and the grafts didnt grow only around 20% grew i estimate. since then my baldness has progressed. it has totally changed my out look on life and my personality i am no longer an extrovert im an introvert with extremely low self esteem its has directly affected my relationships and resulted in the break up of my 7 year long partner and im no longer the same peron i was. my surgery is hopefully going to transplant 5000 grafts and im so worried. This time ive done my research and beleive i have picked the best DR available. the surgerys are not cheap and i cant afford for anything to go wrong and it not be a success my bank or my nerves couldnt take any more. i just hope i will be one of the lucky ones and it all comes good!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if any one out there reading this can reasure me and validate my choice of DR i would be very greatfull. in my mind i beleive i have made a good choice but i still doubt my self as i also beleived dr rogers was good choice and all he did was esentially rob me and butcher my head!!! surgery planned for july with hasson fingers crossed cheers for reading ps balding sucks big time it ruins lives
  4. first of all im very sorry i have not been able to reply sooner. thanks for taking time out to read and help. its much appreciated. distance or money is no longer an issue the only thing i can think about now is sorting out my hair. its very depressing and i know many of you have been through the same thing so thanks for helping. no disrespect to dr feller or spex but i think i have decided on dr hasson? purely on the amount of good feed back and patiant pictures on this site its overwhelming and the results speak form them selves??? im after as many grafts as can be extracted and dr hasson seems to be doing many large number surgerys which hopefully means i will get the maximum yield possible. my situation is making me very depressed and is spoiling the best years of my life as im the baldest i have ever been right now and its affecting my social life. Rogers is a fraudster only intrested in taking your money. im just so thankfull i was left with a good scar at least. but paying 3500 pound for a good scar with no hair is a bummer and i cant get over how dull and stupid i must of been. i cant afford to take chances at this stage as it has been affecting my life so bad to date. this is the last throw of the dice and it needs to be a pair of six's or im out!!!! of the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ive sent my pictures away and asked to book a date!!! fingers crossed
  5. money is not an option for me but quality is! ive had 1 terrible HT by rogers medical now westminster medical uk and strongly advise people not to go to him! i did this before i new about this web site. nice scar just no growth!!!!!!!!!! i need to get my hair sorted now i waited the 1 year period for gains but no cigar!! no i need the real deal what do you guys think of hasson pathomavich feller im looking at a dense packed mega session as many grafts as can be extracted and as dense as can be grafted in one sitting! i really dont want to go through the hassel again after this next time! if you could go to any one of the above who would it b and for what reason? i know they are all good dr's but one must be better at carrying out the surgery i require......... please help thank you for reading and for any constructive replys cheers
  6. i took finesteride and my penis felt like rubber it also shrivelled up and my orgasms where hardly worth having no just anti climax! i also work out alot and notived a difference in body condition i lost some definition and looked less tonned over all like i was holding water??? either way i stopped and i must admit my hair did get thinner and neadless to stay i stopped the meds and my sexual function returned to normal thank god but i really dont think i could go on it again i was on it for a year!!! im going for a mega session shortely just hoping my choice of not wanting to take propecia will effect my new hair growth
  7. chest/body/legs/ to head!!!!!!!!! does it work? do the hairs grow like scalp hair? do they grow for as long ie not fall out after an inches worth of growth etc? i only ask i am woried about my donor volume/density? i have searched and searched but no definate answer has been found please help j
  8. great pictures and im very happy for you man. well done!!! do you mind me asking what density per sq cm grafts you got as i really like the thickness? cheers james
  9. thank you very much for your help. at the end of the day i guess if its going its going, hat or not......... cheers
  10. im sure this has been answered before sorry. but does wearing a cap or hat or safety helmet effect natural hair growth? i wear a flat cap alot and my family and friends say it will make my hair worse is this true? also i work with horses so i need to wear a safety helmet alot does this make my hair fall out more than a person who does not wear hats etc? cheers for ready guys j
  11. thanks very much guys for your replys..... im not to concerned but now im a forum member i just thought it wouldnt hurt to ask? its still there today still sore but less so than lastnight!! it sits directly under the suture line which has healed well raising it up about a pee sized lump that stings abit??? the last one i had totally went away after a few days i fully expect this one to do the same jus curiouse to know what it is??? i guess it could be anything from, a zit reallt deep under the scar skin to a in growing hair to a reaction.... oh well if it burts and a alien jumps out i will be sure to let you all know. ha ha
  12. hey guys i have a problem im abit concerned about..... about a month ago i noticed i had a sor lump like swelling directly under the scar site at one corner of my head....... nothing came out of it like a zit or spot...... it was there for a day or two then went completely away!!! the only problem is ive just noticed another one and it sore also but in a slightly different area of the donor scar???????? im quite confident that after a day or two it will go away!!!! but im really confused as to why it happens and worried incase its not good...... the only thing i can compare it to is boil like except it isnt a spot or zit and it goes away very quickly unlike boils etc...... this time it came up after i had been scratching the back of my head could it be damage under the scar due to scratching i dunno?? cheers j
  13. hey man thanks for helping me out with that as it was a concern for me..... i really do feel sorry for you in regards to the multiple strip scars!!! i really do hope you have rectified the issue with ur scars and once again thanks for the help
  14. i will be sure to carry out a picture diary for the benefit of the hairrestoration forum when i meet up with the good dr and have the surgery he has already agreed for me to take pictures and record the surgery hes very nice........ just so i am aware im sure the dr will do a great job but just so i know what density per cm2 of grafts should i be aiming for to give the illusion of a thick hairline and frontal regeon of scalp in day light???? cheers guys
  15. any help guys with this would be great its a simple question im sure some 1 could help me out quick with a answer to it??? If a patiant already has a strip scar from a previouse HT. During surgery for a 2nd HT, will the surgeon remove the old scar with in part of the donor strip skin and close up omly leaving 1 new scar??? or will he/she simply work around it i.e taking the new donor strip from bellow or above the existing strip scar etc? cheers for any 1 reading and and thanks for answering if yer do.... j
