Its all the media. you also discussed even the first time when you were coming to Pakistan about the security, but you saw that every thing was OK. Now a days, pakistan is much secure to travel as compared to last year. Now this patient again came after 11 months i.e 3 days back and told me that he had stoped finasteride 1mg for the last 4 months, and only using Minoxidil 5% and a laser comb. Dear All This patient was type VII with thin and very limited donor area. Again a challenging surgery for DR Humayun Mohmand. He got his 2st session in 2007 Feb with 2320 grafts. These pictures were taken in Jan 2008 when he came for the 2nd session. But we donet have his 2nd post op pics as he did not came. We will post 2nd op pics when ever he visited us. I got his pictures inside and out side clinic in natural light, so that things should be cleared. This patient also keeps hair short. Cheers.

Actually we are not blaming the human factor at all. All we are saying is irrespective to the cause of poor growth we take the responsibility. Generally, there are two types of factor that can influence the growth 1) H Factor or human factor, that could be , Doctor, tech, dehydration of graft, difficult surgery, patients post operative care, smoking and so many others that could be a cause. 2 X Factor, a cause that we do not know of......... in our set up, we do not blame things, we take the responsibility. This is how we do not let the doctor go off the hook, in fact to the contrary, he has to be responsible for every action that is taken directly by him or indirectly by his staff representing him, like Techs and the consultants. with respect to whether we are confident if the results would be good, answer is YES we are, is there any gurantee, NO we cannot gurantee that it will be 100%. If we do that we would be lying. will try to up load an example of poor growth and then second surgery result. We have done about 5000 surgeries in last 10 years, that means about 500 to 700 surgery a year. If out of 700 surgeries a year less than 7 people come back with a less than 50% growth and poor surgery, it makes it about 1% of poor growth. Which also means 99% of good results and that is why we get so many of patients, word of mouth. We think, its not bad with respect to statistics of a clinic but we also acknowledge that for that particular patient its 100% poor results, so we would like to do as much as possible to bring this 1% to 0% which is not possible practically. that is why we take the full responsibility.

By looking at your results, I would rather give a very honest opinion that hair growth is only 50% which is not according to our expectations and standards( this may be because of human related factors or X,Y,Z factors etc). It may be because you are one of those rare cases who also show hair growth in 10-12 months which probably will not happen in your case. Still we should see for 2 more months. If suppose the results are the same, then Dr. Humayun will not only offer you complementary surgery, but because you are a foreigner and especially traveled to Pakistan for HT surgery, will also offer free 2 nights stay, food, and 50% economy class ticket to Pakistan. These facilities are not offered to over seas pakistanis because they visit their homes here. They are only offered complimentary surgeries. Dear All Hope you all doing well. Its my pleasure to show again Dr humayun's excellent results. This patient got only 1 session with 3027 grafts in December 2009. I took his pictures only after 7 months i.e in July 2010. In my consultation with him, I promised between 2300-2600 grafts, but Dr Humayun tried to get maximum number of grafts. Unfortunately we lost his pre op pictures. But i have got his 2nd day post op and 10th day Post op pics. He also responded very well to the adjunct of medical treatment, Finasterdie 1mg, Minoxidil 5% and a laser comb, especially in the crown area. He came for 2nd session but we did not recommend him to go for that, as he has got complete transformation. I have got his pictures inside clinic as well as out side the clinic in natural light. Dear Khizar I saw your post today and just want to ask that how do you know about the exact percentage of every surgeon ? How do you know about Dr humayun's 95 % doing FUT? Did you work with him or you know the number of surgeries he has done and you took the percentage? Dr Humayun is doing FUE since 2003 and has been teaching FUE since 2003 when no body in Pakistan was even familiar with the word FUE. Its the patient who chose whether to go for FUE or FUT. We offer both. I have seen in many forums in different net search that you are trying to promote Dr Ahmed. You discussed every doctor in your answer, in which i felt that you are promoting Dr Ahmed. This is what I got from your answer. I may be wrong. But I believe that if a doctor is qualified and well reputed with excellent results, will come up himself and his results will prove. In Pakistan we normally tell patients to do net search about the doctor's qualifications and well repute around the world. I think good doctors doesn't mean that they have done celebrities like sports man, Singers etc, but by his qualifications and should work in ethics, AND ABOVE ALL is ETHICS. It seems that you work for Dr Ahmed and is trying to promote him. So kindly I will request you not to comment on any surgeon until and unless you worked with him/her or don't know what they are offering. My opinion to any hair client in Pakistan is to check pakistan association of plastic surgeons official website and see if the doctor's name is there, claiming cosmetic and plastic surgeon doing hair surgeries. THis gentleman was type VII and a very limited donor area. His first session was of 2456 grafts in Feb 2007, and 2nd session was in Sep 2007 for 2016 grafts. All the best

This Gentleman was type VI and got 4747 grafts FUT in 2 sessions. First session of 2876 grafts January 2008, and 2nd 1961 grafts October 2008. His hair quality was also very good. After first session we noticed that he got almost 15% less growth, so according to our company's policy we gave him 30% grafts complimentary( almost double) in the 2nd session. cheers

Mr.Fazle Rabi is a dentist a was recommended by his colleague Dr who done HT from dr Humayun. This Gentle man got 2356 grafts type VI in only one session and comming for 2nd this summer. we also recommended him and is using Finasteride 1mg, and minoxidil 5%.

Dear All The reasons because of whcih I think double scar surgeies should be avoided are : Ist, If the lower scar is below the occipital protruberence, means below the small little pumb of bone then this scar unless proven otherwise will widen. Second, I think the space between two scars is more then they can be corrected at any time in future. Third I believe that the upper scar is way too high and if he recedes to type VII in future, he will definately loose hair from that scar and the scar will show at the upper end of the receding donor hair. these are my personal views patient Advisor To Dr Humayun Mohmand
