  1. I would meet people who have had beard hair removed and try to see a shaved down extraction area or closely clippered beard , smaller the diameter of punch lesser the chance of scarring

I have had 3000 extractions from below and above my jawline and have no visible scaring , i would try a test session from underneath your chin , see how you heal and grow

    hope this helps

  2. Hi Wylie

I would say most of the morning for the extractions , started first thing and finished in time for lunch ,I believe beard extractions are a lot more specialised, and a lot is dependent on the individual , ease of extraction , bleeding , movement in the chair ,

i have had three one day procedures so far , fourth booked for May

    hope this helps

  3. Hi

your scar is not the worst i have seen and i think can be improved .I would consult with Drs who have a proven record of scar revision and fue into the scar , see how your scalp laxity is first and go from there .

I would not rush into any procedure and wouldnt be tempted to revise the scar in one procedure as this often leads to dissapointment . I think your scar could be hidden with fue , do your research on scar repair , below is my repair procedure

  4. These are photographs at nineteen months post procedure with Dr Bisanga at BHR .

Im still getting hairs breaking the surface at this stage , approx ten to twenty over the last couple of weeks .

The tissue is very much improved, i think due to Dr Bisangas low density grafting approach to re establish blood supply into the scar tissue with a view to more grafts being added in the future

Am happy so far with the results and worry a lot less about the unsightly scarring ,

    all the best

  5. I have had three repair procedures with Dr Bisanga and am booked for a fourth in May .

Dr Bisanga has many documented high definition photographs of both fue, fut ( strip), and fue / fut/ combo , and beard body hair results across many forums

After 3 k grafts removed from my beard and placed into my former strip scars i have excellent growth and no signs of extractions white dots or scars , i think this is down to Dr Skill

Both Drs have a great reputation , however for me Dr Bisanga wins hands down , the prior, post, customer support is excellent , from Dr Bisangas UK rep, and his own fue only result is simply excellent ,

i would consult with both and go from there

    hope this helps

  6. Hi Hariri

I can't speak for the other several reps listed on BHR website , but I know the UK rep is certainly not part time, especially from my experience, in that he answers emails 7 days a week and at any time, and I think this is also the experience of others when I read about the customer service they also have received

Was there any reason you say they only have a part time rep? Was that your experience?

    all the best

  7. I think Bhr are represented on quite a few forums , four that i know of and a few European ones , French ,Spanish , Polish , Swedish , etc so possibly dont feel the need to add any more , just a guess but seems possible .

I think its always best to take your time and not rush into anything , meet as many ex patients as possible, see the work close up of any Dr or clinic you consider . Meet the Drs reps, as the rep , represents the ability and work of the Dr, and will be able to answer any qs you have

hope this helps , all the best

  8. random email isnt a good way for a reputable clinic to conduct themselves .

Most good Drs offer a free consultation also .

If you do go as there ,as is no harm in going, ask if you can meet patients who have had a procedure with this Dr , try to speak to patients outside of the clinic and not the ` cherry picked ` ones they would present on the day

Ask what instruments they use , how long they have used them and how long there staff have been there , then take a while to digest all the info and book a train to Belgium and consult with Drs over there who dont send Random emails and ask them the same qs , meet as many patients as possible

    hope this helps

i would research extraction methods , devices , manual/ automatic , punch size used etc, meet some patients and examine there face yourself , videos are ok as you can freeze the frame and examine the neck area for any visible marks

Dr True has good case of beard extraction with good close up pictures cant find it at mo

    hope this helps

  10. hi , i think it depends on your scalp laxity , my opinion is that there is a higher risk of stretching again , if you revise it in one go , theory is if its stretched once highly likely to stretch again ,

i have heard some Drs prefer to excise the strip scar in two, or more procedures, to be on the safe side and reduce the possibilty of stretching again

I would take your time and get your laxity assessed with a few Drs , my experience was that my scalp was too tight for revision , so i opted for beard fue into it that has worked quite well

    hope this helps

  11. Joe

Great video ! interesting subject .

Graft site instruments , either needles or blades ,appears to be much like fue extraction devices , outer/ inner punch diameter which can be very misleading .

Looking at these instruments used , it looks like it comes down to almost ` shape `, round causes more trauma than slit so to speak , do you think its due to ` surface area ` and the blade has a lot lower surface area than a needle ? as it appears that way in the vid

    many thanks
