  1. Hi NPK, You seem to have lost much(type-4) of your hair at very Young age(22). As me being 24, recently undergone FUT. i can suggest you to go for FUT which can assure you of good results at low price compared to other techniques. As you are also from India, there are only 2 doctors recommended in India. Dr Madhu(Hyderabad) and Dr.Radha Rani(Vishakapatnam). Try contacting both of them and choose your surgeon. I recently underwent a FUT procedure with Dr.Radha. You can send me a private message for other details. All the Best.
  2. Good Result Mcloud.. Regarding the scar, i do feel its not bad and can be covered with proper combing. If you look at the 2nd photo, it looks perfectly fine(i mean the scar)
  3. Thanks a lot Janna for clarifiying my doubt.. I was terrified that i might have plucked the grafts while washing off scabs.. Your words have given me a lot of confidence. Now i will peacefully concentrate on other things and hope for good..
  4. Hi Hariri, I was suggested by Dr.Radha to wait for 30days before shaving my head.. so that is the reason. Any idea about the hair that has fallen while washing the scabs? will it grow back??
  5. Here is the update of my HT progress. pics taken on 20th day.. I have lost so much hair while washing off the scabs. I am not sure if that hair will grow.can someone pls confirm about that. coz if that hair returns back,my head will look much better..
  6. Thanks for the update Cardel.. Your hair is looking great.
  7. I had my HT with Dr.Radha Rani recently and i can say she is a very good doctor.. Worth considering travelling to vyzag.
  8. Did you observe any side effects Raj
  9. Hi Sandip/synergizer Unfortunately there are no recommended doctors from Mumbai on this site. However you can travel to Hyderabad(Dr Madhu) or Vishakapatnam(Dr. Radha Rani) which are not so far from Mumbai. The last thing you want is to end up with a bad HT. So there is no harm in travelling a small distance. Consider yourself very lucky for having 2 good doctors(Madhu & Radha) very close to you. Imagine some persons travelling from abroad and coming to these two doctors. So all i would like to say is stop worrying abt having a HT in Mumbai and make a good choice(even if it means you need to travel).
  10. Brought finpecia tablets today. After studying about all the side effects that it could cause, i was amazed after looking at the size of the tablet. My first expression "What the Duck! how could a tiny thing like this scare everybody" Anyway took the first tablet today and i hope this tiny thing doesn't make my THING tiny..
  11. Thanks David.. I would like to know if i can apply tugain foam once in the early morning and again in the afternoon. That is bcoz i work in night shifts. So those are the tidings that would be feasible for me. Also pls let me know how much time should i allow the foam to soak in before washing it off.
  12. Hi Guys, Had my HT 15 days back and have just bought Finpecia and Tugain Foam(5%). I need some advice regarding the timing of usage. Is there any specific time during the day when these need to be used to gain maximum effect etc.. Also i would like to know whether i need to continue using these meds forever?? Please help me by responding.. Thanks in advance.
  13. Even i feel that 3500 grafts is too many looking at your pics. However you have posted only the frontal pics. so assuming you are planning HT only in the frontal region, 3500 is too much.
  14. I had a HT just a week back and i need to start using Finpecia and Tugain in a couple of days..so i just wanted to know the difference between the two pecia's. I am an Indian, so i am pretty confident that i can find the genuine Finpecia stuff. will start using in a couple of a days. I wish the side effects wont bother me.. :-)
  15. Here is the post from Lindsey.. Reading this will definitely make you fell better. " Here is the time line I tell people: Today you will leave with a crew cut of new hair wherever we place it. 7 days from now you'll get your sutures out and most likely you won't have cleaned enough...but once you wash away any remaining scabs in the recipient area...you should look pretty good. That hair will grow for one month and then just about all of it, AND any of your native hair in that area, will fall out. Nothing will happen for 6 weeks, and then your native hairs will start to regrow. You'll think its our new hair, but its most likely not. So from week 5 to 11, you will be balder than now, then at about 3 months you'll be back to baseline with your native hair. At around 6 months, some of the new hair will be growing. Sometimes its earlier (luck) and sometimes its later(absence of luck). 1 year from today, I'd expect you to have pretty good results but its probably 15 months til you are max'd out....but no one can remember to come in at 15 months, so we do an even year. If you are a revision of previous surgery, particularly a plug repair...add 3 months to the above timeline starting at the 3 month event noted above. I hope this is helpful, and it seems to be pretty consistent at our office."
  16. Yeah jimmy, it is common. With in a week or 10days (By the time you remove your strutures), everything will be fine.. Happy Growing
  17. Happy Growing Buzz.. Just stop worrying abt the growth and concentrate on other things. The hair will kick in automatically
  18. Blood popping out from the transplanted area doesn't necessarily mean that the grafts are damaged. By the way its been 45 days since your HT. Keep posting regular updates which would be very helpful to many members on this forum. Happy Growing
  19. Yeah i am really surprised after looking at my donor area in the pictures. The scar looks very very thin and i am pretty sure it goes unnoticeable quickly and forever. Now the only thing remaining is waiting for the grafts to shed and regrow. Its been almost one week already, and i haven't lost even a single graft. Can someone pls explain me about the shedding process(when it takes place). so that i can be less worried. My friends are telling me that the transplanted hair is growing slowly, but as far as what i read from this forum, the grafts need to shed first and then start growing in 4-5months. I am really confused. Pls let me know the exact process. Thanks in Advance.
  20. so you mean finpecia is a high quality product and is proven??
  21. Hi guys, Can someone tell me the difference between Propecia and Finpecia. Also if both are the same, why does Propecia has more side effects than finpecia? Well i am completely new with these hair loss drugs. so pls bear with me if this question looks childish.. :-)
  22. Thanks for your comment allabouthair. coming to the donor area, there is a good one fist gap between the crown and scar. so i think that is fine. Also i believe, the lower we go, the thinner the hair gets. correct me if i am wrong.
  23. Hi guys, http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/Rockstar/blog/1579/ I have added my pre-op and post-op pictures in my blog.(in above link) I have been planted with 2874grafts. Pls let me know your views. Thanks
