  1. Dear all, I am getting extremely tensed thinking about the future on how good/bad my HT results will be. I am roughly about 6 weeks post HT and I feel I am in much worse stage than my original hairline. Also, I have started using Rogaine and I think my crown area is thinning. I know a lot of you guys have gone through this phase and I just need to wait this out. Did you guys get tensed thinking about the outcome? What if it isn't what you expected? Sorry, I am just ranting! Thanks!
  2. hey.. I have been trying to take pictures from my bb.. I am gonna try to see if I can get better pictures. Thanks for responding though.
  3. Dear all, I am getting a bit worried . I am seeing tiny black spots (I am assuming these are scabs) and pimples out on my head on the 20th day of my HT.. Please do let me know what I need to do. btw, I had my HT with Dr. Madhu around 20 days back and got 3310 grafts. I thought all my scabs were gone by 10th day but am assuming that these are very tiny scabs and they still are there.. I would really appreciate your advice. Thanks much!
  4. Thanks a ton for your reply! What did you have as your post op instructions after day 15.. all of mine ended besides I guess taking meds and not exposing my transplanted hair to the sun..
  5. What should one do besides taking meds? Everyone is going to lose transplanted hair at their own rate. So there is no point losing sleep on it. The grafts are pretty secure at this point. I am tired of thinking if I am missing a trick or if I should be doing something else. What if I am not cleaning my hair properly. So, for my sanity can you guys please tell me if there is anything I should worry about or should I now forget about HT and just live my life.
  6. I have been intrigued about the density of the newly transplanted hair. While it seems like that in post HT pictures (for someone in Norwood scale IV and above), the newly transplanted area won't be dense. But, the results after 6-8 months give the impression of a full head. Why is this so? Even in my case, I am at the 10th day with all the scabs gone. It seems like I have a buzz cut, but there is a bit of distance between my transplanted hair. I am hoping that when it grows, it will look more dense. How does this hair become dense after 6-8 months and why does it become dense?
  7. Dear all, I am 10 days post my HT. When is it safe to start using Rogaine and Propecia? I have never taken these meds before. I was reading somewhere that if you haven't taken any of these meds, you should wait 3 months before you get started. However, after doing my research on these forums, I found out that you can start with propecia almost immediately and the foam can be used after 2 weeks. I am confused. I would really appreciated your help!
  8. Hey guys, I have been lurking on this forum for god knows how long (4 years or so). I was sick and tired of everyone commenting on the loss of my hair. Sad! I honestly haven't been to a party without my baseball hat! I am a 28 year old male and have been losing hair ever since I was 22/23 (that was after a bad breakup) and ever since I have lost tons and tons of hair. I think my Norwood scale was V, but am not sure. I finally decided to get my HT done from Dr. Madhu yesterday. I flew to Hyderabad a day before to make sure i got some rest before the HT. I reached the clinic at 6:30 am and my procedure was done in around 4-5 hours. Doctor Madhu and his team were very nice and approachable and I had a great experience. I will post my pictures but unfortunately I don't have a camera. I will get it done when I go back home. Question: Today is my second day and I am seeing some blood pop out from my transplanted area. Is it because my grafts have been damaged?
