  1. I learned that I was being too gentle with my scalp, and over the past week I've been firmly massaging it with my fingertips and indeed, there are a lot of dormant hairs that were just sitting still on my scalp, I believe they matured after month 1. So they've come off and now it looks like the ugly duckling stage...Also the pinkness wasn't there the first 3 weeks postop, but emerged after day 21.

  2. Yeah initially 2% felt great to me too, made my hair look great too until I started to lose my nicely transplanted results from Dr. Hasson..

Here is also advice from Spex.

Gotta be careful about the 2% in particular.

Interesting, would have never guessed this till seeing these threads.

  3. Week 6, still have retained a decent number of implanted hairs, as per menosmolas above. I suppose they will fall over the next two weeks. Flaking has reduced a bit after I massaged the scalp. I occaisionally get bursts of acne, with a few zits popping up on the scalp and am getting some now, checking with doctor to see if it requires treatment.

  4. 1) 1.5k? Perhaps

    2) If you stabilize your loss with meds, it's OK

    3) Shuoldnt see changes, but if liquid is not causing adverse reaction, why change?

    4) 1mg is the recommended dose.

    5) Use the branded meds, avoid generics to be safe. Best bet is the branded Proscar which you can cut into 1/4ths, which is what most of us use.

    6) Either FUT or FUE would work. Think about what you are more comfortable with. If you're going to keep your hair long, FUT is fine, but since most younger guys want to have the option of buzzing their hair, I'd probably lean FUE.
