  1. yup I've never been so happy to BE BALD I was slightly self-conscience being bald. With that SHARPIE-hairlined procedure, I was FLAT OUT insecure to leave my house Run for the hills if you are considering having this procedure
  2. Got this done at Good Look Inc first week of Sept. Absolutely hated it. The second I left, I could not WAIT to get it removed. I listened to the owner who said it will fade BIG time over next 4 weeks. Well, it didnt fade enough (only slightly) !!! So, 4 weeks later now and Im having it removed with tat removal laser. The tat removal laser was easier than I thought although $300/session and I will probably need 3 sessions The tat came out EASY.....but since there is SO MUCH surface area, they cant help but miss spots, hence the need for more sessions. Side notes $4,700 for the tat-hair $450 for RT flight The owner was a defensive jerk who aqvoided me liek the plague onece I expressed dissatisfaction. Like how dare you not like my product (errrr WTH!!!) I even told him ""look dude, I dont want my money back, I want OPTIONS on getting it removed"". I looked like someone took a dang sharpie and outliend my hairline. I SPECIFICALLY told them I was MORTIFIED of the hairline looking too sharp. One ear out the other He pretty much BLEW ME OFF from that point on (one I said I didn't like it)! HORRRRRIBLE customer serrvice. I was treated like a leper. THANK GOD the tat laser worked! Very easily might I add. Apparently, they use all organic products in their ink AND apply it close to the surface - both of these result in a very easy to remove situation (albeit, ~$1,000 in expenses) Ive been HIDING in embarrassment for a month now. Awful experience Oh well, live and learn
  3. I saw this clip - this guy looks GREAT Good Look Ink featured on Good Morning America | Good Look Ink
  4. Killer reply buddy thanks........know what the unfortunate irony is for me tho? "its still 5-10 years out" even IF this works LOL
  5. This is by no means directed at you!!! BUT< I am so sick of hearing "it's just 5 MORE years away" Been hearing false hopes like that since I was 25. Im 45 NOT
  6. Thanks for the link. BUT - hasnt this been the hair multiplication FAILURE that's been advertised for 10 years now; never having come to fruition due to the potential for tumors etc? Some used to improperly refer to it as cloning when it was first discussed
  7. http://www.baldingblog.com/2011/02/23/scalp-micro-pigmentation-an-alternative-to-hair-transplantation/ is it just me or does pic # 1 + #2 look fake http://www.hishairclinic.com/gallery/ some of these look great while some look fake To be honest, some look SO GOOD, I think they are dudes with ACTUAL hair but shaved! Look closely
  8. Best of luck TTDS I wish they had some sort of video animation available! For ESTIMATED before and after looks
  9. You lost me here Are you saying that the hailine looks GOOD and believable if you shave your head bald? IMO, it still looks fishy/fake.
  10. The frontal hailing HELMET look scares the be-Jesus outta me regardless of MY current situation (tan head). Some of those pics look awful
  11. Forgiving me for derailign this thread for one second.....I shave the dome daily as Im completely bald ( ) I also have darker skin (Italian). Would SMP be more ideal for someone like me?
  12. Great info. Thanks for the informative thread Question: How in the world could they "remove it"
  13. Found it -thanks http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/165968-smp-consultation-request-results.html
  14. I cannot afford 25,000 worth of grafts and multiple procedures just to be able to barely cover 2/3rd's of my scalp. Screw that. Im as bald as it gets and screwed with a ton of surface area to cover. 3 different Opinions now from 3 different HT Surgeons. I give up on waiting for the recurring "we're 5 years away" pipe dream of cloning/multiplication or otherwise as Im already 45 So WHO is the most reputable hair tat place? Good Look inc?
  15. What is "chicks powder" Not trying to be a jerk but how can you if it's amazing to see the effect if you didnt have the patience to try it. Thanks
  16. I'd postulate that lasering off the tattoo will harm the follicles. I have heard that tattoo removal lasers are THE MOST painful of all the aesthetic lasers; some times even scarring the patient. If you are going the tat/pigmentation route, you'd better make sure that's what you want. That said, should you decide to get FUE later in life, I dont see why having SMP beforehand would make a difference. Tattoo'ing the scalp should not adversly affect the scalp. If so, explain how? (with respect to potential hair replacement). I know I do not stand alone when I say I am sick of hearing ''a cure is just 5 years away''. I've been hearign that for 20 years. I'm now 40 and not getting any younger so I just may do some additional research into this SMP. I'm a type IV so I have very few options.
  17. Wouldn't that be SWEET if you could get a preview of what SMP would look like either via animation/imaging like the ones plastic surgeons use OR by applying a FAKE or very temporary tattoo/version. I'd be all over that. Not too off topic but when I was in Cancun, I got a temporary tattoo on my arm that lasted 5 days or so. It withstood the ocean and constant pool time/swimming. More importantly, it gave me a definitive answer on IF I truly wanted a REAL tattoo there (on my shoulder). I did NOT. The inherent value in "test-driving" this was obviously HUGE!
  18. There is just a big difference (to me) in "looking like your bald" and "BEING BALD" when your head is trimmed SHORT or shaved. I would NEVER get that tattoo/pigmentation procedure done but I do like the look they are able to provide (when its done right....thats the sdcary thing!). Given the fact it's gained a decent amount of popularity, I'd say Im not alone.
  19. He said the scar would be blatantly obvious and from ear to ear he said 3500 (500/day every other day for 5 treatments) to start out with but this would only provide 75% coverage (paraphrasing here)
