turingmachine your hair looks completely normal for 6 months quit worrying haha. All transplants look like that mega close up.
-
At 30 and with only that much hair loss i think you're a really good candidate for FUE. Depending on how low you want the hairline you need like 2000 in the front and 1000-1500 in that crown. So you've used Rogaine foam on your crown?
-
Hey bloodhshoteyes great pics and the work looks good. I think you'll be pretty happy here in 6 months or so. Happy growing.
-
That's going to look great in 6 months man! Diep was a excellent choice. I love his Youtube videos. Yeah do what you can to prevent further loss because 24 is a very young age to have that much loss.
Good luck.
-
Rajesh, yeah you're suppose to keep your recipient sites good and moist after a transplant. Spraying it with water every 30 minutes or so. I always take baths and soak my grafts and take a couple of long showers a day. You should be scab free a week after your transplant.
-
Livinla have you tried Finasteride and Rogaine foam? Give those a shot before you get a ht on your crown. SMP is a joke in my opinion.
-
Dobler it's only been 7 months lol. It's early. Maybe you're just losing even more native hair. You shouldn't have shaved it if you liked the way it looked and why cut your hair so short when you just spent $$$ on getting it fixed? Grow it out and enjoy it.
-
fuzer1 it looks a little straight but it doesn't look unnatural so just come to grips with it. A full head of hair is better than what you had before man.
-
I will eventually post some pics.
-
Kiwidude yeah duh call the office. Yes he offers a cash discount. I've had 2 fue surgeries with him. Both turned out great.
-
Konior does excellent work but if you're only a Nw2 , in your 40's ,and only want 2000 grafts did you even consider fue?
-
garethbale I was the same age and pattern as well. Finally pulling the trigger and getting a FUE procedure was the best decision i ever made. I wish i had done it 5 years earlier. I was scared to get a strip procedure due to the scar, scar stretching, nerve damage, etc.
You won't be able to hide your transplant if you work in a office. You'll just have to suck it up and tell people...or have a good excuse. HDC does some fantastic work. You'd be in great hands with them.
I pm'd you.

I'm 5 months out from my 2nd Nader fue of 1800 grafts (total 3800 grafts) and the difference in my appearance is amazing. My hairline hasn't been this nice or low since i was 26 or so (a decade ago). The "ugly duckling " stage of the first 3 months or so really made me feel like shit this time around. I felt hideous and wore a hat...which i never do. So it feels great to be getting hair compliments again.
The redness will eventually fade and you'll be looking good. Happy growing wilkinte!

"Respectfully, is a Norwood 1 age appropriate for the entirety of your life?" "Most men naturally recede to a 2 by mid life, whether they experience baldness or not."
I see plenty of men 60+ with perfect low hairlines that haven't budged in their lifetime. JEALOUS lol It looks great. Getting older doesn't mean you need a "mature" hairline. Get the hairline you dream about bennyt89.

densedream i agree those prices are a joke. NY am i right? lol
Coolboy if you want aggressive fue look into Dr. Diep. His youtube videos show how excellent his work is. He also doesn't feel the need to get on here and bash superior methods and people he doesn't agree with.
-
"Mfue" is the lamest thing I've seen on here in a long time. I had a good laugh though.
Like many posters have already said in this long boring thread bash FUE all you want. In the right hands it's amazing and the results speak for themselves.
-
Yep you need 2000+ grafts to achieve a good result man. Keep looking.
-
Ajax just keep that list to Konior and Diep if you can afford them. Both do excellent work. Rassman and Shapiro are two names i would never expect to see on a top fue list lol
-
Top notch work! You're one of the best Dr. Diep.
-
Rappy lol the reality of this thread? You mean the biased bullshit from old school doctors too lazy to perform FUE? Do you mean the doctors who pay to be on this website and all have an agenda? Do you mean all of the guys who already got stuck with a strip scar so they say well it was good enough for me it's good enough for you?
Look up some Dr. Diep or HDC results on here and be blown away.
This guy's results inspired me to have a FUE procedure from a doctor in Mexico who charges 1/5th the price Feller does and it turned out to be the best thing i ever did.

I was looking good by month 7 but looking great at the one year mark. Hairs were still sprouting up to a year.
-
Funny they brought on Huebner (who just does ancient outdated mini-grafts) as a expert. What a joke.
-
I agree Matt27 Dr. Feller has a history of acting VERY unprofessional.
911 Fan.... so just because a doctor pays to be recommended on this site their opinion means more? haha Did you not know they all PAY to be on here?
I've had 4000 fue grafts taken and when my head is shaved you still can't tell. Every 6 months Feller starts his FUE bashing and it wins him more uneducated fans as well as more enemies.
-
bbtrojans if you've been thinking about it this much for 5 solid years and can afford then do it. Getting my fue was the best decision i ever made. I was like you and thought about it for a loooong time. I wish i could go back and have it done 5 years earlier.
Is my hairline the least of my worries? Help please

3000AD you made a wise decision going with FUE and it looks great! You will be very happy in a few months.
