  1. hi guys I'm 3 half weeks post fue and though no real redness I've got a few pimples and a very small boil apart from applying a warm dishcloth/small towel which would be best to apply after considering the stage I'm at witch hazel- Neosporin or tea tree oil I would love to know if any of these stand out from the rest with helping the pimples go quicker and are any of these harmful to the grafts in anyway? Which ones did you guys use and had success?
  2. Thanks Gillenator for your response is it right to say if the shed starts and finishes in a few days that it won't shed anymore? OR is it possible to go through 2 shockloss sheds and another could be on the way in a few weeks?
  3. Thanks Spex for that. One more thing is it safe to start using warm compresses on the recipient to help with a few boils at 10/11 days post op?
  4. Does anyone know if it's safe to use witch hazel on the recipient 10 days post op?
  5. Hey guys I was wondering my grafts haven't shed just yet but....I am experiencing a lot of shockloss and hairs coming out in the recipient area every time I wash my hair and it's clearly visible that I've lost some existing hairs which is cool but my worry is, is it Normal to experience shock loss after 8/9 days so early on? I was under the impression it was 2 weeks onwards that existing hair shockloss occurs?
  6. Thanks guys For all your kind and quick responses I got to give it a chance and let it all heal up and then assess the situation as it looks a lot better already.
  7. How quick can I start taking multivitamins and msm/ biotin post op?
  8. Hi guys I was wondering as I'm day 2 post op fue and I can see some small pitting not all the grafts but some seem to have mild pitting. My question is will the grafts in the pitting site grow just as well as the others? Can anyone with any knowledge or experience with give me any information. Thanks in Advance
  9. Hi Batiste is the one I use from time to time but there are a few different brands out there but I personally like there dry shampoo's.
  10. Hi, I'm curious why I haven't read any talk/threads on the subject of dry shampoo. I say this as you can buy them in plain format(standard) and colors such as the one I use which is brown to deep brown from batiste that I use occasionally. I find it to work as a pretty good concealer and hair thickener. Would be interested in others peoples opinions on this
  11. Hey Blake and BlackAmish and everyone who's responded you guys are great your knowledge and experience is invaluable..as I'm at roughly the half way mark I'm hoping I will have a lot of maturing and thickening to come? Though it's a little bit of a nail biter you right. One more thing you may have experienced or not sure if I should start another thread is: I had donor hair implanted In-between existing hairs in my frontal third now when I split a parting in my hair where areas that are still thin I can see and have been seeing little stubble hairs that have not grown (as I have monitored a particular area for the last 6 weeks) they seem to have been sitting there around 1-2mm in length, and NOT growing. Can someone tell me if they are just dead hairs? Or will they kick in and grow? I'm a little confused Has anyone experienced this? Thanks again
  12. Nice one good read though would love to hear more from others. (Second link didn't really work btw) Happy growing on your second HT fella Thanks
  13. My Doctor is a very well respected ht surgeon from Belgium. I don't have any pics but it's more of a reassurance that this happens a lot and it will resolve itself, as I know it's a waiting game. Did yours fully recover then Hrsp10 ?
  14. Hi guys as the title says I have one side(right side) of my hairline and just behind it where it's noticeably thinner and less dense than my right side. I had 1700 fue to my frontal third as it was thinning out but now I'm concerned as I'm not sure there will be any new growth but just maturisation of the existing ht hairs? Has anyone experienced one side lagging behind(a lot thinner and less dense) and will it catch up? ( Any replies with experience would be really appreciated as it's getting me (

  18. Hi, im currently looking to get acell injections into my thinning hair, ive searched around and know a few docs that do it combined with prp, now i know docs who use it with there fut's and fue's procedures but im looking to see if i can halt/stop my hairloss without having a HT(for now) Im currently on rogaine and avodart and all the vitamins and shampoos to help but would really want to try acell as a standalone without surgery for now. Can anyone help or have had this done?OR have a link to someones experience? I know dr rassman and dr cooley do it with there Ht's but not sure as a standalone, i know dr hitzig does but not sure on this doctors credentials. Hope to get a few helpfull responses thanks guys
  19. Thanks jotronic though in your experiences working for the great H & W , is it ok to wear liquid foundation or powder foundation(as southbeach mentioned) to help disguise if have to OR would it effect the ht results? If not is there anything else that can be used?
  20. will def try the liquid foundation sounds like a good bet, did you jus wash your hair to take it out every night or use makeup remover?
  21. Hi Dr Charles yes i have thinning hair in recepient where grafts would be going though hair sticks up at the front and cant push it down:( Can you tell me if you get better results with hair being shaved as i guess its easier for the doc to work with? My hairs a guard 6 or 7 always so not sure if that would help possibly? Oh and whats yours or everyones input on makeup? Not alot posted about this:confused:
  22. I understand some redness goes quick and others dont, but what can you use to disguise the redness can anyone answer that through experience? As cannot wear a cap for 2 months. Is there makeup that works Or people have used?
  23. Hi i was wondering when i get my fue ht done how one can disguise the redness in the recepient area? Has anyone used makeup and if so does it work? will it damage or limit the hair to grow once grafts have fallen out(2-3weeks)? Also fake tan would that help? Is it ok to use for the redness? Share your tricks as would really love to know as would want to be back to work 3-4 weeks post op!
