You chose a great clinic and will be fine either way. I decided on FUT and my scar is really difficult to find. I don't even think about it. I had the same anxiety about it before my HT though. If I go back for more, I would probably go for FUE the next time. The FUE results from SMG have been really impressive.

Looks like you are doing well at 9 months. The temple areas still look slightly thin, but not bad at all. You will probably see some more thickening between now and 12 months (although not likely to be anything dramatic). I definitely had some thickening occur during that time frame from my surgery.

The second photo looks much better. I agree with everyone's assessment. Probably have thinned more behind the hairline. I do think if you can get another 3K total, even if it takes two sessions, it would make an amazing difference from where you are now. Hang in there.

Looks great......he was really thinning quite a bit and it now looks much thicker at the 6 month mark and with a relatively small number of grafts.

SMG has been producing excellent results with FUE. If I have a second procedure, that is what I will do (even though I had a great result with FUT). One of the things I really like about SMG is the results they are able to achieve using relatively small numbers of grafts for the area to be addressed. I think you will be fine, but if you have concerns, just talk to the Dr. about it......he is the expert! You will have a great experience at SMG....they are great people.

Sean, don't let it get you down dude. You hair is much improved and if you decide to have it touched up it will get even better. I have never used Toppik, but sounds like it might help you. Hang in there buddy.

That is quite a transformation since he was completely bald. Very nice and still early.

If you are having issues you definitely should stop taking it and consult with your doctor. Some people take less of it and the sides go away. The side I had was some mild groin pain for a few days. It happened after I was on it for about 4 months or so and then again a month or two later. Each time it lasted a few days and went away. No sides since then. The drug still scares me though....it is a potent medication. That said, most HT surgeons are supportive of using it as long as it does not cause any side efffects.

Makes sense Hal. I have seriously considered stopping altogether. Every time I see additional information on this drug it is bad.
