If you look like NW2 , obviously you are receding may be at a very slow pace either because of propecia or by nature of your balding. I am not sure if it is possible to determine where your balding level is heading to, I suggest you to consult a doctor. . If you see an increased hair shedding after stopping propecia you better contue it.

I used Propecia for 6 years, my hair loss slowed down for those 6 year but with in 2 year after stopping I lost most of the hair. I had the side effect of decreased ejaculatory volume during the time I used. I was also afraid of the side effects and stopped using it.

But as soon i stopped with in a month or two side effects are gone.

I am not sure if this is the case with every body. But is there any reason to worry about if you have no side effects while using it.

Dr path has shown more number of successful cases on this forum. I also liked Dr madhu results but all of them are for indian origins only.

I don't see this is an alternative to HT. When I went to Dr Rassman's San Jose office I saw somebody who got it done on the scar. It definitely hides the scar pretty well.

Nothing wrong in negotiating nicely. I guess most of the doctors give discounts if you are flexible with schedule, If you allow them to post your photos on internet Or if you pay by check or cash.

I have seen some article on this by Dr cooley. He suggests his patients M-W-F. He has his own rationale for this.

Your hair definitely looks great. But I have a question why did you need 3000 grafts? In your before Ht pictures you hardly looks like NW2.

I think you are close to or little better than this patient of rosanelli in terms of balding. 2114 grafts gave him very good transformation. I guess 1600 grafts should give you good look.

If you are just 20yrs old, Chance are high that you will see a good result from using Finastaride. You should be Fine dont worry. I used Finasteride at that age it was very very effective, start using it in 6 months - 1 year you will see a good result.

Are you not considering using mediciine finasteride. If you use Finasteride you will not got to 4A just in a year. If you are pretty new to the this forum then you better do lot of research before going for HT.I suggest you to consulta a doctor and get on finasteride.

I don't think fishman35 's hair is pluggy. To me It looks like a good result.

I just meant to be careful to chose right doctor to avoid shock loss. Higher NW has less possibility of shock loss because there is less hair and easy to get around it.

Though temporarily it may be easy to achieve a good result on NW3, It looks very ugly once you loose more hair, that is why it is important to not consume all the donor right away. Proper planning by the Dr is required if the final baldness pattern is not yet established

I agree with Eddiemunster, It is pretty clear that Dr Rahal's clinic threatened david. This kind of response from Dr's clinics for negative posts like this is unnecessary because nobody really agreed with David's original post. Deposit policy is clearly stated on Dr's website.

This is how most of the men who started balding shall deal with their HTs. Go conservatively keeping in mind that they have to go for multiple HTs. Going for multiple HTs is The ways nobody notices that you are getting bald or you have HT done. Going to a good Dr is important to minimize the schockloss and any other side effects. Good docs can usually plan well keeping in mind what is coming in the future.

Dr Carman, The result looks very natural. But I guess this person needs a crown work for a better look. I support a conservative approach for higher NW class patients or younger patients heading for a higher NW class.

What is the size of the area covered in this session.

I agree that this threatening episode might have caused far more damage than the actual post. Infact the actual post causes zero damage in my opinion.

I too agree that people who are NW2/NW3 shall be very careful with hair transplant. They should understand the risk of shockloss before proceding for HT. But we have seen great results in this forum.

Thanks for the answer. I agree with you that there will be night and day difference between transplanted area and the rest of the crown If only frontal scalp is transplanted. But I have seen many pics on this forum especially by top docs where They address frontal half first. Then if possible go for crown. see the bellow link as an example.
