  1. You mentioned you are looking for FUE, As far as I know Hasson and wong does not do FUE. I do not know whether you realised or not, I suggest you spend more time researching in who does better FUE.
  2. This is the second time on this forum I have seen a patient of Dr Feller who complains about the result and communication problems. While I agree that Dr feller gives stellar results , it looks like the way he treats patient with a bad results is horrible.
  3. To me your hair transplant looks pretty natural and not pluggy at all(at least in photos). It is up to you to go for a second pass but it depends on how much future loss you can expect and how much donor you have. I guess you should discuss with your doc at 12months mark.
  4. I believe JustAGuy deserves some quality time from Dr Feller to spend with him after all he is a patient of Dr feller and his transplant is a failure(may not be Dr's fault ).
  5. Looks like all these attractive technologies will be available only after I become too old to have any interest in hair.
  6. Finasteride and Minoxidil solution are the medicines to use all other medical treatments are not proven effective, waste of money. If you are considering HT, Dr Madhu is the only one in india recommened on this forum . Talk to him you. Being 18 years guy your expectations will be very unrealistic, I suggest you to understand very well what can be achieved by HT before going for it.
  7. Bill, When you started the thread to consider Dr kulahci for coalition I am one of them who liked the results by this Dr. But I have not seen many people really supporting her inclusion, of course no body even objected. there was one who expressed concerns. I am not sure how you call it thorough. correct me if I am wrong.
  8. Dr Gabel your documentation is excellent, so is the result . Very easy to understand what is achieved by the surgery.
  9. Recentlly Dr Kulahci has been given coalition status by the forum. And now we see two patients who are not that happy for what ever reason, either because the work done by the doctor is not upto mark or the patient is not educated properly. The process of recommending doctors and then giving them coalition status seems to be really not that thorough.
  10. your hair situation is way better than many. you are lucky the HT can give you a very good hairline compared to some who is completely bald. FUT is affordable go for it. Usualy scar is minimal.
  11. IMO, It is tough to get coverage that hides scalp from a top view, but even your front view is some what see through. Either some grafts have not grown yet , will not grow Or the hair line is designed so. From your post op it looks like you have a large area covered for 3200 grafts, probably your hair line is designed so and your doctor is planning to give you more density in the second procedure. You have few morw months to wait. In any case this is not a very bad result.
  12. Dr Alexander, While I agree that final result looks good. Photos posted by you are always tough to compare. You do not take with the same hair style , not in same lighting. it is hard to compare betwee post op photos and pre op photos. It is tough to understand how much benefit he got by this HT. I looked at TakingTheplunge photo album, Photos taken by him after Ht#1 by you and by him are so different.
  13. Subbu, Your HT looks pretty good. We never heard of her on these forums, looks like you have taken a chance, But you are having great results. congrats.
  14. I am trying to chose one of the two Drs that I have consulted to go for HT. One of them uses blades as small as 0.8mm but not custom cut. he is close by and more affordable. He has shown good examples of his work. he is recommended on this forum. Other doctor uses custom cut blades., shown good examples of his work. also recommend by this forum. How important is it to use custom cut blades. To me this is the only difference I see between these two Drs. I know that custom cut blades allows higher density but neither of them suggested me to go for higher density because I am NW5 and I have not much donor hair. I have seen lot of debates on custom cut bladed before but posing this question again to get some advice.
  15. I am NW5 sparse hair all over the scalp. I started reusing Finesterides 3 months ago after a gap of 4 years, I see that my hair is more manageable than before. probably not much new growth but at least existing hair is becoming more strong. Do you think, it is advisable to go for HT at this stage OR shall I wait for some time until the hair is more healthy. I am afraid that the week hair many not grow back after shock loss. Will there be shock loss for somebody having so sparsely spread hair.
  16. In my opinion Dr. Keser is more popular for FUE than SMG. But did you reasearch enough to go FUE route.
  17. In our society balding is not considered as a very serious health problem, and that is true IMO. It is just like there are so many jokes on fat people, lean people and ugly people, there are also jokes on bald people. Just think about unfortunate people having sever handicap problems. I dont see any body ridiculing them. Just accept it you cannot change the society. Also be happy that you are not one of them who have much sever problems.
  18. Work looks natural. I don't think one should excpect more density for the given number of grafts when they are spread all over the scalp with no hair at all.
  19. Dr. Mohmand , Another great result from you for such a low number of grafts, how much area did you cover in the fist procedure.
  20. I am very sorry to hear your story, I would say you should do some thing then accepting it. I know it is easy said than done. It is really difficult to go through the entire process once again. Dr mohmad mentioned on one of your threads that he gets 5 or 6 cases every year like this one with poor results. After reading that statement I am now scared to go for HT. Is it same with other Doctors. When I spoke with some of the coaltion doctors they said the worst that they have ever see is 70% growth.
  21. I am talking about the cases where patient physiology is not the culprit but the factors mentioned above by gillenator. The reason why I am asking this question is I see not all the doctors post patients results regularly on this forum, Not even once in a month. Is it because their success rate is less.
  22. I have heard of lot of people had bad experiences with no hair growing at all when they went to some unknown doctors. My question is when you go to a recommended doctor on this forum what are the chance that the hair growth will be much less than optimal result , like the result is less than 70 percent of the transplanted hairs grow.
