Twenty something attractive woman concerned about the progressive thinning of her hair. Hi Mercury - when the patient came to Dr. Arocha, he had already had three procedures done, which attempted to restore his hairline. The patient was not happy with the results and came to us. Dr. Arocha performed his first (patient's 4th) procedure using his artistic technique to produce the desired thick, natural looking hairline for the patient. The patient is now ecstactic about his new results. It may be hard to see, but the before pictures are the ones with black marker drawn on the forehead of the patient. But just in case, if you hover your mouse over the pictures, the file name of the picture should appear. 45+ year old man status post 3 FUT procedures, came to see us with complaints about his persistent thin hairline. Young man, 28+, with MPB S/P hair restoration procedure 1 1/2 years ago presents with full grown in results. He had a total of over 4000 FU transplanted. His hair characteristics were a two edge sword. Coarse hair with a wave is very favorable for creating a fuller result, but a challenge to prevent looking tufty. Here is were the artistic skills come in, creating a dense, but natural hair line that appears soft.

37 year old man with diffuse hair loss, most significant in the crown area. Remember, that hair loss is very forgiving, it permits the loss of 50% of the hair in the area before the threshold of thinning is reached. A useful examination technique is to wet the hair in order to exposed these thinning areas. The after photos were taken at one year post-transplant.
