here are some pics from my surgery post op day 1. To be honest the surgery was rougher than I expected. It took 12 hours and I got around 4200 graphs. Overall it was a great experience, Dr Wong and his staff were top notch. I just hope everything turns out, because I don't want to go through this again. BTW my head has swelled up. I look like an alien.

Hi all, I am new here, but not new to hair loss. Next week I'm having a mega session with Dr. Wong. He sure has his work cut out for him, because what I have is a mess. I had a hair transplant when I was 23 and it turned out awful. I had approxiately 500 graphs put in and at first they were ok because they mixed in with my other hair but as the years went on I lost all of the hair around it, so I was left with this pluggy hair line. I have been faithful about taking finasteride, but that doesn't seem to help at all in the front. I am overall really excited and glad I'm going with one of the best surgeons. I really hope he can fix this mess so I can finally move on with my life. I have been so self concious about my hair, I don't even like to go out anymore. Anyways, I'll keep you posted on my journey. I'll have my laptop with me in Vancouver so I'll try to take some good pictures after the surgery. I am attaching a picture of what my hair looks like now. Razor:D
