  1. Im sure this must be an old question, But Im new here and based of the information that I found on internet, Im start getting confused. What do you guys think of them? which one is better? Based on what I understood the main difference is that 1) FUT is more predictable and more graft can be saved but it will leave a huge SCAR in the back of your head meaning you can never shave or have your hair to short (if for any rason you would want to have that) 2) FUE does not leave any scar but more graft are destroyed in the process of harvesting, but it will not leave any scar and it will heal faster SO PLEASE what is your guys opinion? which one is better? Arr doctors usually do either FUT or FUE or is it more exclusive, I mean if a doctor is a known HT surgeon, how do know if he is good at both tecniques?
  2. 3) By the way has anyone heard of a doctor in San Diego by the name Mark V. Garbutt??
  3. I have few questions that Im jus going to throw them out, would really appreciate it if I would get some response.... 1)Through life I've learned if something is expensive, it doesnt neccesarily mean its good, but if something is cheaper than usuall then there most be definitly something wrong.... So my first question on Average what is reasonable to pay per graft? I heard around 4-6 dollars, now Ive heard that there is this Dr that charges 2.50-3 dollars, does that sound reasonable or to good to be true??? 2)What is pinpoint hair restoration? Is it better worst or the same thing as mini and micro grafting?
  4. Hey Can I ask you who your doctor is, and where is he located? thnx
  5. Thanks for the link, but I had seen that before, and you see I don't know how reliable those names are, I don't know if they paid to get on that page, and also their resume, to be honest with you, none of them have got their specialty from a MAJOR medical school. Now Im not saying that someone that graduates form a major school is necessary a better doctor, or that they know things that no other doctor knows, but it does show me that they must have been way above an average medical student when they got into specialty program... and again Im looking for a doctor that is way above other doctors....
  6. I guess you are right, but California is the biggest state in US (population wise), I asseumed there should be atleast a couple of well known names out here. Also many celebreties live out here and they live on their looks so I thought if there is a good enough Doctor for them here there should be one for me;) But if you know someone that has such an incredible reputation that it would be worth travelling to another state/country for please let me know.
  7. Hello everyone This is my first thread in this foroum. I live in Califonia as goes by the title. I want to go for consultation, but I do not know any good surgeons. The one with best reputation and most number of happy and sattisfied patients. I don't care about the wait time or the price I just want the best surgeon I could find in california... I have alot of questions in my head. As goes by my username the pattern of my baldness is pretty much the same as Al bundy. I have heavy hair loss in the front of my forehead and thining in the vertex. Im 31 years old by the way.... I really appreciate all advice and suggestions
