  1. Hi Guys, Im post op 10 weeks, i had 3000 grafts, ive been pretty happy with my surgery so far. Im at 10 weeks post op and for the last few weeks been noticing new hairs randomly sprouting here and there The process is pretty slow and just the odd hair has sprouted here and there. At the moment i probably have more hair than i started off with but its not that significant a difference. My question is what is the timescale period when most of the "sprouting" is achieved. I know it varies from person to person and full growth can take anywhere up to and beyond a yr. But id like a small timescale ie 4-6 months when most of the growth will occur. Just something to keep my worrying down!!! Thanks
  2. I can imagine they are very careful and hesitant in handing out visas to 18-36 yr old men considering the tension between the 2 countries and the blight of terrorism that is going on Id phone again and try to speak to some1 else
  3. Hi Javy! Im not going pakistan but i was there for 3 weeks and came back on the 24th Jan 2009. I had a HT with Dr Humayun.

  5. Cheers Eman, Just wanted to make sure im not harming the recovery of the scar.
  6. Thanks Eman, mmhce and canadian_buba. Thats a load off my mind. Now im 18th day post op, i currently wash my hair twice a day, how long should i continue doing this? Secondly is it safe to use dermmatch or other concealers on the scar in the donor area at this point? I dont want it to affect the scar healing but also need some sort of cover for work because it is visible
  7. Guys, If you or any1 can help with this question. Post op after 48 hrs my doc stated i should wash my recipient area with water and shampoo. He said i shoud use a cup or jug with some shampoo in it and gently pour it over the recipient area, i was told not to touch the area but let it dry naturally. The donor area was to be washed and rubbed gentle everyday. This was to be repeated everyday until the 10th day when i could wash it properly. Is this the correct way or have i damaged some grafts?

  9. Hi Guys, Im 16 days post op, 3000 grafts, just a few question. 1)Is 3 weeks rest enough before taking part in heavy exercise again? 2)When should the slight numbness in both my donor and recepient region subside? 3)My hair was about grade 1 at the time of the op. Ive carried on growing my hair since, At the mo my scar line is still visible, how long roughly b4 it stops being visible? 4)I still have some scabs in my donor area, hardly any now in my recipient area. Is this normal? Thanks Guys

  12. Hi Guys, Im 13th day post op and ive had 3000 grafts. Since the 10th day ive been given instructions to wash my hair regular and in the shower use the pulp of my fingers to ease the scabs off the recipient area. Ive also been given some wipes to use gently over the scabs and help speed up this process. Just wanted to confirm that it is ok to use these wipes? Thanks

  15. Hairthere, I have spoken to some of his patients but by definition what they or i consider a job really well done may not be. I just want people with expertise to judge his work and tell me what they think of it! If they can do that then it would be really beneficial in helping me make a decision

Hi Surya, Who did you have your HT from and what was the whole experience like?
  22. Guys, At the mo im growing out my hair so hopefully there will be some cover. I spoke to the doc and said there will be no need to shave/machine the recipent area down, As far as a cap etc at work that wont be possible as it is an office. I intend on taking about two weeks off from the time off the transplant.
  23. How long after a HT will soreness, scabbing and reddness last? Im gonna be taking some time off work for a strip HT of around 3000 grafts. Obviously when i return to work id like as little attention to be drawn to my HT as possible. So how long is enough time off? Thanks Zaz
  24. Guys, Are there any products out there that have been proven to reduce scars created by a strip HT?
  25. Hi guys, Is it true that after a hair transplant the transplanted grafts fall out over a period and are replaced by new growth? Can also someone tell me what shock loss is? Thanks#
