Regular Member matrix Posted September 30, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted September 30, 2007 Hi guys,I have some questions re: Minoxidil: 1. Is 5% better than 2% ? 2. Are some formulations better than the widely available Rogaine? 3. Is the new foam as good as the solution? which is better, based on your experience? 4. Where to get cheaper but still reliable supply of minoxidil? any tested and tried websites? Cheers..! Matrix

Senior Member giants Posted September 30, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted September 30, 2007 Matrix, 1. The 5% solution is more concentrated and therefore should be more effective. 2. There are different formulas(see Xandrox)but id suggest at least for now to buy typical rogaine 5% foam. 3.The foam and the solution work the same. Many people complained that the solution was messy and iritative to the scalp. I have been on the foam for over a year and have not expirenced any side-effects. 4.Your local drug store is the best place to buy rogaine. Monox can be purchased under many different name, i have has no problems with the rogaine foam, Hopefully iv been helpful
