Removing Crusts

Recommended Posts

I have lost a few hairs when removing crusts from the transplanted area. I also notice that there can be around 1-10 hairs per crust, and that some of these hairs are bent at the end and some have small black bulbs on.

My questions is, if you lose a bulb does it come back and will the hairs come back?

Thanks

I'm not sure how many days you are since your ht. But normally the grafts are set in at about 1 wk. The little hairs are going to come out anyway, so in about 3-4 weeks most will be gone. I don't think that all of mine ever came out,but most did. The little bulb at the end of the hair is not the follicle, so unless you had some bleeding you shouldn't have hurt the follicle and the hair will eventually grow back. Probably at about 3.5-4 months is when you start noticeing growth. I'm at almost 6 months and have really started to see some nice growth. Although most people see a lot of growth at 7-8 month mark. With the full result at about12-14 months. But it goes by quickly. Good Luck
