Remember that grafts are secured around 9-10 days post op and would have to be surgically removed from that point. But with strip surgery, the donor scar takes longer to fully heal. So it really depends on what type of surgery you are thinking of. But I would say, as long as the donor isn't touched or stretched, you should be fine a few weeks after a hair transplant. BUT, I would give the donor 4-6 months if there is going to be any heavy pulling on the donor area. Of course...get a doctor's opinion...but this is my best guess.
