Please Grow Please,

Perhaps you are talking about temple restoration?

Can you post a picture of the area you are referring to?

Temple restoration typically requires less grafts, but typically temple loss is in addition to frontal loss, not typically on it's own.

Pictures would definitely help!

Cheers,

Bill

If you're a younger guys who's not really bald but has just lost the hair above the sides . . .

You're showing early stages of MPB. Mild temple-area recession is normal to happen between the ages of 20-30, but the process is also the first stage of larger hair loss for many guys. If you are genetically predisposed to getting male pattern hair loss and the temple hair loss is not the end of the process, then unfortunately your hair loss WILL UNQUESTIONABLY get worse over time. It's only a question of how much worse and how long it will take to happen.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of possibly very bad news for you. But you're talking about HT surgery, and it's important that you realize what you're getting yourself into. There are a lot of unethical doctors out there (yes, even the well-known doctors who claim to be at the cutting edge of the hair loss field) who will take your money, and lie to you, and leave you worse off than if you had never sought their services in the first place. I'm saying all this because you NEED to educate yourself about the hair transplant world before seeking any HT surgery, especially for temple/hairline work at a younger age.

Please Grow Please,

I'm glad JoTronic's pictures were able to give you a frame of reference.

You have to realize, however, that there is no average number of grafts and certainly no "one size fits all" approach. It varies from patient to patient. It depends on the degree of loss in those areas, whether or not they are completely bald or still contain native hair. It depends on how far you want to bring the area forward, etc.

Cheers,
