Dermatologist (North East - England)

Well, I have just returned from an appointment with a dermatologist which was provided by the NHS (after waiting for 2 months), and I am so angry. This guy is a "professor" - yet he is absolutely useless, at least when it comes to hair.

This is my second (pointless) visit to this guy in just over a year. I won't go into detail but let's just say I get more sense out of my GP (who wasn't even aware of Propecia until I told him!).

Anyway, I've decided to go private. Does anyone know of a good Dermatologist in the NE of England? I have searched online but they mostly seem to work within the NHS at the Royal Victoria Infirmary - so they work with/under Professor Useless.

Hey Spex,

Yeah, I've had my transplant but my concern isn't with that. I don't want to go in to detail but it really is an issue for a dermatologist.

If I don't find somewhere closer to home, I will visit the Farjos'.

Thanks

P.S. I'm in Newcastle

Try Dr Dias who works out of the Nuffield Hospital in Newcastle. He is an excellent dermatologist but I don't know if he carries out hair transplants. Are you sure you want a dermatologist and not a plastic surgeon?

The Queen Elizabeth hospital in Gateshead also has a hair transplantation centre.
