Senior Member Maxxy Posted November 16, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted November 16, 2009 Well, I have just returned from an appointment with a dermatologist which was provided by the NHS (after waiting for 2 months), and I am so angry. This guy is a "professor" - yet he is absolutely useless, at least when it comes to hair. This is my second (pointless) visit to this guy in just over a year. I won't go into detail but let's just say I get more sense out of my GP (who wasn't even aware of Propecia until I told him!). Anyway, I've decided to go private. Does anyone know of a good Dermatologist in the NE of England? I have searched online but they mostly seem to work within the NHS at the Royal Victoria Infirmary - so they work with/under Professor Useless. Senior Member Maxxy Posted November 16, 2009 Author Senior Member Share Posted November 16, 2009 Hey Spex, Yeah, I've had my transplant but my concern isn't with that. I don't want to go in to detail but it really is an issue for a dermatologist. If I don't find somewhere closer to home, I will visit the Farjos'. Thanks P.S. I'm in Newcastle

ProFusion
Try Dr Dias who works out of the Nuffield Hospital in Newcastle. He is an excellent dermatologist but I don't know if he carries out hair transplants. Are you sure you want a dermatologist and not a plastic surgeon? The Queen Elizabeth hospital in Gateshead also has a hair transplantation centre.
