Regular Member Ringo Posted April 1, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted April 1, 2009 I am 4 weeks post op, and I experienced a small amount 1/4" of shock loss along about 3 inches of my donor scar on the right side. How long can I expect for it to start to grow in? Senior Member PLEASE GROW PLEASE Posted April 1, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted April 1, 2009 Thats mild in comparison to what Ive seen plenty times before. About the same time your grafts start growing the shock loss should return
Bill - Seemiller
Ringo, Shock loss can be discouraging at any stage however, in the vast majority of cases, it's temporary and will regrow between 3 to 6 months. I too experienced some donor area shock loss similar to this after my second hair transplant. Hang in there my friend. Bill
