Regular Member Dr. William Reed Posted July 31, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted July 31, 2009 The first procedure was 1781 grafts with 51 double follicular units. His hair is rather fine. His donor is tight with multiple scars from the previous punch graft procedures, hence the small size of each procedure. The second procedure was 1846 grafts, all single follicular units. He has recently undergone a third procedure with the goal of moving the hair mass further to the rear and to put some light coverage into the crown. Some of the larger grafts at the hairline were punched out to feather the hairline for a more natural appearance. Bill - Seemiller
Dr. Reed, The patient looks good. Thanks also for explaining your approach and reasons for doing two smaller sessions to help him meet his goals. Great work! Best wishes, Bill
