Sam K
Hi, Since taking Finasteride, my facial skin has become extremely dry and flaky. In the space of 6 months, it's aged by 5 years. I didn't have any wrinkles before, now I have lines on my forehead. How many other people have experienced this dryness, from Finasteride, which leads to wrinkly skin? Bill - Seemiller
Sam, You are the third person I've heard report dry skin as a result of using finasteride. I don't recall seeing it as a potential side effect, but perhaps it's one that Merck doesn't know about. In my opinion, you may want to consult with a dermatologist and get his/her professional input. Ultimately, if Propecia is causing the dry skin, you will have to determine if you want to continue taking it. Bill
