Has Finasteride caused your facial skin to age??

Hi,

Since taking Finasteride, my facial skin has become extremely dry and flaky. In the space of 6 months, it's aged by 5 years. I didn't have any wrinkles before, now I have lines on my forehead.

How many other people have experienced this dryness, from Finasteride, which leads to wrinkly skin?

Sam,

You are the third person I've heard report dry skin as a result of using finasteride. I don't recall seeing it as a potential side effect, but perhaps it's one that Merck doesn't know about.

In my opinion, you may want to consult with a dermatologist and get his/her professional input.

Ultimately, if Propecia is causing the dry skin, you will have to determine if you want to continue taking it.
