I am going in Dec for my second procedure and was wondering what I can do to prevent redness on my recipient area. Thanks for your help!! Bill - Seemiller Posted November 28, 2008 Share Posted November 28, 2008 Mrkneed, There are prescription drugs that may help with postoperative redness. Unfortunately, I don't know the name of any of them. Be sure to speak with your doctor about your options. You may also want to try Aloe Vera, or Emu Oil which may help aid healing.
