Senior Member TheEmperor Posted March 7, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted March 7, 2010 As you are 38 and still have hair in the front, I believe you would be a good candidate. My Hair Loss Web Site - Hair Transplant with Dr. Wong
Senior Member mattj Posted March 7, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted March 7, 2010 At a guess I would assume that you are looking at crown work. How's the hair up front? The photo is overexposed and could make things look worse than they are, but depending on how much ground needs to be covered towards the front of the scalp, you're probably looking at quite a large procedure. It's difficult to tell with that photo, really. I am a patient and representative of Dr Rahal. Dr. Glenn Charles
If you post some frontal photos even with face blocked out it would be helpful. It would trhen be possible to determine how good of a candidate you are for hair transplantation. Good luck. Regular Member tremblant Posted March 15, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted March 15, 2010 Why are people asking about the hair up front? Shouldn't the hair in back (donor) be most important? Even if hair up front is thinning, he could still be a HT candidate, no? [would just have to decide what parts of the head to do first]
Regular Member Chris in Seattle Posted March 15, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted March 15, 2010 Hi Praytx, Well I just had a great HT by Dr. Gabel in Oregon. I'd recommend contacting him 'cause he's not only a top-notch HT specialist, but a genuinely nice guy who will be very honest about what would be best for you. Best wishes! 4115 Grafts from Dr. Gabel (Hillsboro, OR) March 8, 2010
