How Many Strip Procedures Can The Average Guy Get....

Assuming the following:

 

1. Strip is approximately 1 cm wide

 

2. Strip is approximately 24 cm long (ear to ear)

 

3. Average Scalp laxity

 

4. Procedures are spaced out 1 year apart.

 

Do you folks think 3-4 1 cm x 24cm strip procedures by a skilled surgeon is possible over the course of a lifetime?

 

Also once you get your procedure done, assuming the elasticity of the scalp is not exceeded will the thickness of the scalp in the donor area replensh itself over time or does the skin continue to get thinner?

I can not answer your question.

But why would you want to take such risks with multi strip surgeries ?

 

1800 grafts strip followed by 2100 FUE by Dr. Jones for who I am doing consultation work in Europe.

I have had 4 strip surgeries.

 

1st was 6 years ago. 700

2nd was 5 years ago 800

3rd was 1.5 years ago 1300

4th was in Aug 2003 1500

 

the last 2 were ear to ear.

 

According to my Dr. I have another strip left and that's it!!

 

Now granted, I would have never taken this course if I could go back!

I would have had 2 sessions of 2500 grafts!
