Senior Member gillenator Posted May 27 Senior Member Share Posted May 27 My understanding is that initially ATP was developed as a medicinal agent to increase vacillation to flesh tissue affected by surgery, and the higher corresponding levels of oxygenation will improve the healing process…subsequently, a spray version of ATP was developed for use in HT surgery and to my knowledge not much clinical research was done to establish the degree of benefit for HT surgery…it also was and still is very expensive and I also heard some rumors of a more diluted version to lessen the cost but all the hype seems to have dissipated. Gillenator Independent Patient Advocate I am not a physician and not employed by any doctor/clinic. My opinions are not medical advice, but are my own views which you read at your own risk.
