Is this shock loss or over harvesting?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am over 5 weeks post an FUE procedure - 3500 grafts with Dr Yaman. I am concerned about my donor area as it is patchy and wondering if I have been over-harvested or if this is shock loss and temporary?

Any advice is welcome.

Hi. Welcome to the forums. I'd say it looks pretty good for 5 weeks. You most likely have some shock loss which is very common. You will need to wait a few more months to see how well it grows back. However even at this point it doesn't looks so bad where someone just casually looking at you will notice anything. It's going to be obvious to you because you know grafts were taken from there and you are looking for it.
