Senior Member SeanT1 Posted April 8 Senior Member Share Posted April 8 Hi everyone, As the title says, is it possible to speed up the healing of the donor area and exhilarate the reduction of redness? I would like to get SMP as soon as possible (ideally after 4 months of healing). Thanks!
Regular Member OleBaldy Posted April 8 Regular Member Share Posted April 8 As with anything your hair needs proper nutrition and hydration to heal. Before I left Turkey I bought Fin and A vitamin supplement with Biotin and a complex hair matrix formula that seemed to help everything heal quickly. I am older than most HT patients so I wanted every advantage in healing I could get.
Senior Member SeanT1 Posted Saturday at 10:03 PM Author Senior Member Share Posted Saturday at 10:03 PM Thank you, I've also purchased Aloe Vera gel, I hear positives about this too. I've ordered biotin as suggested. Any other recommendations?
Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted Sunday at 12:33 AM Valued Contributor Share Posted Sunday at 12:33 AM I’ve tried lots of things over the years for transplant redness (as well as scars). To be honest I don’t know if anything really helps to speed up this process. The good thing though is that it will definitely disappear in time. 1 GATSBY 'UNPLUGGED!' 15,671 (3 surgeries) Grafts FUE+BHT Dr. Sethi Eugenix
