3,055 Grafts FUE hair transplantation and scalp lipoma excision in the same setting

Patient’s information

- 37 years old (Asian) Male with Androgenetic alopecia Class 5

 

- Previous treatment:  Vitamins

 

We performed FUE hair transplantation to rebuild the frontal hairline as well as to add on the density from the top to crown area. 

The number of grafts breaks down into

1 hair unit x 310

2 hair unit x 1,501

3 hair unit x 947

Total number of grafts = 3,055 FUGs

Average hair: graft = 2.01

Total number 6,153 follicles

The photos reveal of 1 year result after our FUE procedure and expose the scar of mass excision on the crown.

 Scalp Nodule Well defined mass on the crown persists more than 5 years. Soft consistency. Initial diagnosis is lipoma. The mass excision was performed in the same setting of hair transplantation.

Medication treatment

Minoxidil 2.5 mg oral per day.
