Vinicius Luiz de Sousa Dia
Hello everyone, My name is Vinicius Luiz, I am 32 years old, and I am here to share my hair transplant journey with all of you. Since an early age, I have been dealing with hair thinning and hair loss. I underwent a FUT surgery years ago at another facility, which resulted in an unsatisfactory outcome. After much research and consideration, I chose Dr. Felipe Pittella to undergo another hair transplant, due to the high density and natural results he achieves. Using a scanning technology, Dr. Pittella reconstructed my image and calculated the area of my scalp, resulting in a grade of 3.7 on the PRECISE scale. You can see the photos where my head is mapped out in the software (the area to be implanted). To fill the bald area with good density and thicken the region of the previous FUT, 5765 follicles were transplanted, totaling 11,586 hairs, all in a single day. I will be regularly sharing updates on my recovery and the progress of my hair transplant here on this forum. Feel free to follow along my journey and ask any questions that arise. I hope that my experience can be helpful to others considering a hair transplant. Thank you for your attention,
Regular Member zach07 Posted February 7 Regular Member Share Posted February 7 Could you post a breakdown of how many scalp vs beard hair ? You mentioned a previous FUT procedure. In the post-op pic of your back, I don't see a scar. If it's there, it's the thinnest scar I have seen. Unless, maybe you have had the scar repaired? All the best. Hey, there were 5312 graftsfrom the donor area and 453 from the beard. And you're correct, I actually had an FUE procedure before, not an FUT. Must have mixed that up
