Dr Turan 3700 grafts. 9/1/24

Recommended Posts

Hi all, here I will post my progress and overall review of my experience with FUEcapilar Dr Turan.

1mg fin mon wed Fri for last 12 months

hairloss has been slow and steady for the last 9-10 years but never did anything about it.

3750 grafts. 3500 to rebuild hair line and light temple work. 250 grafts to crown.

The whole experience was very smooth and well organised, from landing to leaving. Operation took place over 2 days, day 1 2200grafts. Day 2 1550grafts. Everything went smoothly with the operation, anaesthetic needles were very painful maybe 8/10 but after that it was a breeze. Slept through most of the operation. What’s app contact before during and after with case managed has been fast and responsive.

now time to be patient!IMG_1834.thumb.jpeg.4253ebdcc434a8566c592240a1474e4b.jpegIMG_1871.thumb.jpeg.b5ba3bbc9af72337580681fa407bea16.jpegIMG_1401.thumb.jpeg.5504f646768fef13ab16381483db3c3a.jpeg IMG_1882.thumb.jpeg.df56c1d89e6d23e5aedfd80f09d89e49.jpegIMG_1881.thumb.jpeg.70799e290190c63cc727d416d2602524.jpegIMG_1884.thumb.jpeg.6083eddb0738836760844fc2d45871a2.jpegIMG_1897.thumb.jpeg.156d4de338f61d1203cae3a29fb61787.jpegAfter day 1 operation IMG_1914.thumb.jpeg.f2014fc0d1729d1a87a5e43e34c6715c.jpeg

Happy growing. The work looks very clean. What did you pay for you surgery ?

I paid £3250. Was quoted 2750-3000 grafts but ended up getting 3700 and was not charged for the extra. Price may have changed since as I booked about 8 months in advance.

Did you leave the day after the procedure? Would you have preferred to stay another day? Thanks

I was happy to leave the day after operation. The day after operation I went back to the hospital where dr turans staff did the 1st wash then went straight to the airport.

How is it flying out right after a full shaved head with donor and recipient work done on it? is it a little weird walking around the airports or not really?

It was fine, I flew from SAW airport in turkey back to Heathrow. The airport in turkey was full of people with fresh hair transplants. There were about 8 people on my flight that I counted and various others with nose jobs!

Day 30 update. All seems to be going well, Shedding is well under way. Had the backs and sides tidied up but not allowed to have recipient area shaved for 12 months. Not really sure what I can do with it other than wait it out. Does anyone know how short barbers can cut with scissors as I think this would probably be the best look for the time being!

hey @Newman. I had my surgery 3 days after you with Dr Turan so will be closely following your journey . I shaved the sides yesterday also but just going to grow the top out for the full 12 months. Your donor looks like its healed well already. Think the next couple of months will be tough but hopefully by the summer, rocking a full head of hair.

3 month update.

All going well, seeing improvements everyday and still a long way off.
Had abit of trouble with spots in the donor area (see below) Started around week 8 and finally clearing up now. The clinic have been very helpful offering advice and guidance when needed.
looking forward to the next few months of growth!
