Regular Member Boba91 Posted September 1, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted September 1, 2023 When does shock loss happen in the donor area? Could it be around 5 days after the operation that you start to lose hair in the donor area, or am I mistaken?
Regular Member jjalay Posted September 2, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted September 2, 2023 (edited) I think in the next 2-3 weeks after a hairtransplant you can start experienc ing shock loss. Edited September 2, 2023 by jjalay

Rahal Hair Transplant
@Boba91, 5 days is a little on the early side for temporary shock loss but it’s certainly possible. If you noticed a change in your donor area from the first day to the fifth day, then it very likely is early shot loss. I suggest posting some photos of your donor area immediately after surgery and now for additional feedback.
