Regular Member SteveUrkel02 Posted August 17, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted August 17, 2023 (edited) I had my first transplant a little over a year ago. I am contempt with everything besides the density lacking a bit. I reached out to Dr. De Freitas and booked a date for 2024. I am starting to notice that many people talk about him implanting in a row pattern. To me if you look closely it is indeed kind of clear. Doesn’t look very unnatural but I think without rows it would look more natural. Now my 2 questions: 1. Will the doctor even be able to use his „row pattern“ on me since I already have hair everywhere and just want to increase density ? 2.If he is not able to use his row pattern , will the performance/result potentially be worse ? I‘d appreciate some thoughts Edited August 17, 2023 by SteveUrkel02

Valued Contributor A_4_Archan Posted August 17, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted August 17, 2023 @SteveUrkel02 He is providing good result since so many years...imo once you choose your surgeon you have to trust his techniques and believe in him...though personally you can ask him abt his techniques and about planning of your surgery and he will be fine to explain you that...so you can clear your doubts with him... 1 Check Out My Hair Transplant Journey --> My Thread 3611 FUE Grafts With Dr Kongkiat Laorwong | Norwood 5 | 2nd May 2023

Regular Member ScottishGuy21 Posted August 17, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted August 17, 2023 (edited) I’ve seen immediate post op pics from Dr’s that look very neat and tidy but the end result is poor. Likewise I’ve seen hideous post op pics with fantastic end results. Whilst immediate post op pics are helpful it’s the end result that’s far more important. His ends results are outstanding. I wouldn’t worry. They certainly don’t look like the sparse ‘rows’ churned out elsewhere. De Freitas is consistently great and has been for many years. Whatever his methods they clearly work. That being said if you are unsure still then look for previous patients with a similar hair style to yours and see how you like them. Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted August 17, 2023 Administrators Share Posted August 17, 2023 People constantly talk about post-op graft photos. But how it look’s grown out is what matters.
