JS10RC
Hello there, This is my first hair transplant with Dr. Keser in Turkey, and it's my 3rd hair transplant overall in the country. I began losing my hair at the age of 20, and by the time I was 23, my receding hairline was quite noticeable. I decided to undergo a hair transplant at that age in Turkey. Back then, I didn't have much knowledge about hair transplants, so I went with the first option that had good reviews in Turkey, even though I didn't have much information about it. Regrettably, it turned out to be a disaster; the hair follicles were poorly implanted, and it consistently looked like I had a cowlick. Fast forward 4 years, my hair loss continued to worsen, leading me to a second hair transplant at the Asmed clinic in July 2019, reportedly under Dr. Erdogan. Despite his reputation, it became evident that Dr. Erdogan doesn't perform the transplant himself; instead, his technicians handle the procedure while he does the consultations and some incisions. This aspect was disappointing, especially given the price of €3 per graft. The clinic's technology and ambiance were commendable, but it felt more like a money-driven operation rather than prioritizing customer satisfaction. I was content with the results from Asmed clinic, as they managed to rectify the issues from my previous transplant. However, the fact that Dr. Erdogan wasn't directly involved in the procedure and the high cost per graft left me feeling disappointed. Fast forward to August 2023, and my hair loss had progressed again. For my 3rd session, I chose the highly regarded Dr. Muttalip Keser. My experience with Dr. Keser was so exceptional that I'm taking the time to write this review, something I don't typically do. I had been communicating with Keser's translator for a week leading up to the procedure, and luckily, there was an available slot for me that same week. Upon arrival, a driver was waiting to pick me up from the airport. The clinic had arranged a hotel stay, conveniently located next to the clinic itself. The hotel was comfortable, and the staff were friendly, with a satisfactory breakfast offered at €40 per night for 4 nights. The next day, a nurse came to the hotel to conduct a blood test to check for HIV and hepatitis. Fortunately, the results were clear. When I reached the clinic, located just about 300m from the hotel, I met Dr. Keser and his team. Although Dr. Keser's English wasn't strong, his translator Fatih was by his side, facilitating communication seamlessly. We decided on a procedure involving 1100 grafts at €3.5 per graft, spread over two days. On Monday, 550 grafts were transplanted to the crown area, and on Tuesday, 550 grafts were focused on the front area. The first day proceeded smoothly, with Dr. Keser personally performing the procedure alongside his two nurses. After undergoing three hair transplants, I can confidently affirm that having the doctor involved throughout the process is crucial. I learned this the hard way after my first two transplants. If I had initially chosen a well-regarded doctor who performs the entire procedure, I would have saved both money and grafts. On the second day, I felt a bit tired and demotivated, but I pushed through. Now, I'm writing this review after the follow-up clean-up and receiving aftercare instructions. I am genuinely satisfied with my experience with Dr. Keser. The positive buzz about him on various forums is indeed accurate, and if you're considering a hair transplant, Dr. Keser is definitely worth considering. JS10RC
@A_4_Archan 100% agree. I brought enough for 1300 grafts and the surgeon was like “I will do my best to extract as many grafts as possible without over-harvesting the donor area”. In the end he went with 1100 grafts. It’s true the Dr is very ethical and cares a lot about patient satisfaction. I was really trying to get 1300 grafts too! I take no medication but I have been taking saw palmetto capsules. The Dr recommends I take Biotin 5mg a day or Sugar Bear Hair 2.5mg twice a day.
