10 weeks post FUE transplant - how's it looking?

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

First time posting here so apologies if I've done anything wrong or posted in the wrong place.. was just hoping for abit of reassurance. I had my transplant done around 10 weeks ago in Turkey at a place called IdelOfMed.

The process went well and no issues with harvesting or donor areas. They ended up using 3,500 grafts, which does seem excessive however my hairline was very deep backwards so hopefully the pictures do that justice.. I've attached some pictures of my progress so far from before surgery right up until todays day (10 weeks post op). I am taking currently 1mg Fin and 2.5mg oral Minox, aswell as biotin tablets.

I do have some hair that's grown in my transplanted area however I'm not sure if it's just the hairs that didnt fall out due to shedding continuing their growth, and i do notice some small sprouts however nothing too noticeable and my original hair has grown back through making it very noticeable.. my ginger skin staying red for this long doesn't help either!

But yeah, hopefully I've included all the details needed. I'll update on here as and when and appreciate any help anyone can offer. Hopefully the progress I've made is normal.

Thanks alot!

Looks like it'll be terrific man!

Between immediate post op pics really showing placement, and your 10 week pics already sprouting, I think you're going to be sitting pretty, and early.

Density should be killer with that # into that area based on the pics.

Thanks so much! I feel abit like I'm firmly in that "fear" stage I've read about where you just keep convincing yourself it won't work! Reassuring to know it's looking okay.. appreciate the response!

Thanks for the response! Yeah my donor seemed to heal really quite fast. I'll post updates along the way, hopefully it will continue making progress :)
