This 31 year old patient received 2711 Grafts via FUE in August of 2021.  His hair count breakdown and surgical details are below.

1 haired FUs - 400
2 haired FUs - 1697
3 haired FUs - 613
4 haired FUs - 1
---------------------

Total # of grafts - 2711
Total # of hairs - 5237

The patient started losing his hair when he was about 25 years of age.  He tried finasteride but experienced side effects so he stopped.  He started using Rogaine (minoxidil) around the time of his hair transplant.

Family history of hair loss can be found on his paternal side only (as high as a Norwood Class 4).

Below is what the patient forwarded us regarding his thoughts on his results.

shows that you cant rely on family history 100% since that guy clearly will at least be norwood 5 without medical intervention

@mr_peanutbutter,

It’s true that family history can’t be fully relied upon. If anything it’s just a guide which can help hair surgeons predict what a patients’ hair loss might be like.  But unfortunately in everyone’s family, there’s always someone with the greatest amount of hair loss.  It may be possible that this is true for this patient - unless he has a sibling  with a more advanced Norwood class.

Thanks also for your feedback on the result.
