Dr. Arocha | 2000 FUE | 11 months post-op

Recommended Posts

This patient came to see Dr. Arocha to fix the hair loss he was experiencing in the hairline/frontal third. He and Dr. Arocha opted for a 2000 graft FUE procedure for this particular transplant. When we saw him back at 11 months post-op, he had a new look, with some additional growing to look forward to as his result continues to mature. Scroll down for a post-op image of the donor area.

Agree 100%

the patient has fine, dark and very straight hair that grows out in a step angle like a hedgehog. basically its east asian hair (maybe the patients is even east asian) that lacks the typical coarseness of east asian hair which makes it hard and difficult to achieve good density, at least in one setting

We can’t judge for hair thickness without measurements. To say if someone has thick medium or fine hair we have to measure the donor hair caliber. I can’t see any measurement about hair thickness and they don’t even mention that he has fine hairs. So that’s your opinion based on an assumption which might be wrong.

In general Even if someone has fine hair, the surgeon plan to implant more grafts in order to give good coverage with one procedure.  That’s why they do measurements before the procedure to do the best plan for good coverage. He could easily do it in one sitting as his area was quite small.

For His Baldness Area which is almost 1/3 his frontal Area, and for only 2000 grafts are used is Decent result

look the sugery plan, his baldness spreding up to his midscalp

a small touch up 300-500 graft would be niceBefore2000FUETopDown.jpeg.96aa47942bb1f6f195efb71231083e49.thumb.jpeg.22d3c3e7958191ec64e93fe3c617dcd4.jpeg

Probaly Surgeon Put Some Grafts around Blue Area (near frontal - midscalp border), around 200 grafts maybe

i guess if Dr. Arocha and he agreed at 2300-2500 grafts, wouldnt be a problem.. otherwise he could archieve desired result in one surgery
