Where did these grafts get replanted?
Does it require 2 surgeries? One for each side?

Hi, these grafts were Reimplanted to the central tuft area.
No, the above extraction in the repair case was performed in a single procedure. Both right and left side grafts were extracted and re implanted in the central tuft area in the same procedure.

Yes, it is possible without any noticeable scars in the beard area if the surgeon used 0.7 mm or less than this size punch. Second important factor is the color of the skin. Fair color complexion has less chances of scars formation. Sometimes if the color of the skin is dark, brown or tan ,even a small size of punch can give white dots / hypopigmentation.

Here is another example where 500 to 550 grafts extracted from the right, left and front hairline. You can see before and immediately after photos.

Hi, sure when the patient will visit for follow up  six months to one year later, share it here. However, for your understanding however I got pics of another repair case where you can see more than one years after the procedure.

I managed to get a hold of my immediate post op images. Based on these the angles and direction all seem to be okay?

Could it just be a case of me waiting it out?

@AhmadChaudhry do you think in a repair job misangled hair can be extracted and placed back in the correct angle at the same spot? Can the same repair be done for cobblestoned hair grafts?

I am a bad angle repair patient myself and am looking at repair #4 soon

Bad angles is universally a multiple surgery job

When bad grafts are extracted, there is alot of trauma to the skin and new, correct grafts CANNOT be added into this same location

You must wait for this area to heal and then have another surgery to implant

Depending how many bad angles you have, this absolutely can turn into 3 or 4 surgeries

Depending if you have a generous donor and your overall gameplan, i think it makea sense to laser/kill off all the bad grafts and then you (hopefully) only need 1 surgery to implant the new grafts

If you for some reason must conserve all your grafts including the badly placed ones, then sorry man you are looking at multiple surgeries
