I want to avoid fin, open to get on to min. I want the community to help me evaluate the risk with this approach, escpecially about the hair growth in the recepient area. Regular Member BALDIE42 Posted December 24, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted December 24, 2009 I would of thought the risk is fairly obvious. On the photos it looks like you had no work done on crown,so you obviously have that to look after,so you don't lose more hair and end up having another transplant. Min and fin go together for best results. If your worried about side effects you might be alright, its a case of finding out,by doing the best for yourself in my eyes. The words top up by hair transplant surgeons really mean another further hair transplant.
Senior Member Maxxy Posted December 24, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted December 24, 2009 If patients still have a fair amount of native hair and are planning on or have had a transplant, I personally believe finding a product/medication to slow or stop further loss is vital. Ashok, Looking at your loss, I think it's a certainty that you will suffer further loss at some point. Like it or not, Finasteride is your best chance of halting or slowing this loss; to not even try it would be a huge mistake in my opinion.
