Regular Member Tiago Martins Posted May 8, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted May 8, 2023 Hi all. Im thinking on starting gym. ( Im taking already OM and Finasteride ). By hitting gym, isnt that a bad thing because it raises testosterone? And by raising testosterone, doesnt that means more DHT?
Regular Member duckling Posted May 8, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted May 8, 2023 yes it will increase testosterone but exercise also helps in promoting hair growth by increasing blood circulation in your body and sweating unclogs your pores which helps in hair growth. And being healthy is beneficial to you to prevent many diseases so please go to gym and don't overthink. Supplements are something which you will have to keep an eye on. don't lift very heavy, reduce /gain weight rapidly and you are fine.

Senior Member RTC Posted May 9, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted May 9, 2023 (edited) having a head full of hair and intentionally keeping testosterone low (and being afraid to increase it) is a big L. Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted May 9, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted May 9, 2023 I've gone back to the gym over the past two months and it feels great again. The younger you are the more testosterone your body will produce. If you're on OM and finasteride I wouldn't worry. What's the point in having hair but poor health? All the best.
