Kelli <3 Posted November 26, 2009 Share Posted November 26, 2009 Hello, my name kelli, im 21 and i just had a hair transplant yesterday. I was told that i did not have alot of subcutaneous/fatty tissue on my scalp and therefore it was difficult to insert the follicles and to give them something to adhere 2. Any woo, I went to Dr. Parsa Mohebi, whom I was extremely impressed with. he told me that the hair would still take. A day after surgery i have quite a few little FOLLICLES sticking out of my skin. Not just the hair, a small portion to haf ( on some) of the follicle is sticking out of my epidermis. Has this happened to anyone else??? Will my hair still take. Try not to panic, however you should speak with Dr. Mohebi sooner than later to make sure none of the hairs have popped out a little. My best guess however, is that everything is fine and what you're seeing is the scabs surrounding the hair. Feel free to post photos for additional feedback.
