Is topical finasteride + minox effective after years of hairloss ?

Having lost hair many years ago would topical finasteride along with minox be effective in regrowing any of the previously lost hair ?

If not, would it then be of any help at all  ?

At best it can turn miniaturising hairs into terminal ones. Most of the time it will slow down the rate of loss. It will almost never regrow hair on bald scalp.

Agree with rafael...it will just slow down your hairloss and in some cases stabilise it for very long and it can make baby hairs more fuller and thicker which will help in coverage ...but where there are no roots present or if they are totally dead thn it will not make any difference ...

if your hairs are too miniaturized then the therapies will not do a lot. Just a stabilisation of your current situation.

Thanks guys.  I suppose at this point I need to look into an HT.
