Is it okay to use minoxidil just for crown regrowth? I am having terrible skin flaking after minoxidil on entire saclp scalp, are there any ways to avoid this?

Try foam based minoxidil.

SoSoz,

somebody already said it, but your scalp may be reacting to the propylene glycol found in the minoxidil liquid solution.  If this is the case, I suggest switching to Rogaine foam which doesn’t contain this ingredient. Minoxidil foam is proven to be more effective and less of a scalp irritant.

That said to answer your original question, yes it’s ok to use minoxidil for use only in the crown.

I hope this helps.
