Rahal Hair Transplant Posted March 21, 2023 Share Posted March 21, 2023 SoSoz, somebody already said it, but your scalp may be reacting to the propylene glycol found in the minoxidil liquid solution. If this is the case, I suggest switching to Rogaine foam which doesn’t contain this ingredient. Minoxidil foam is proven to be more effective and less of a scalp irritant. That said to answer your original question, yes it’s ok to use minoxidil for use only in the crown. I hope this helps.
