Wearing a hard hat post surgery?

So on Thursday this week, I’ve visiting an office that’s essentially a building site currently and I’ll need to wear a hard hat for about an hour while inside.  By this time I will be 15 days post surgery.  I’ve done some searching on here and suggestion is that should be fine by then to wear a hard hat, but i’ll likely be borrowing a hard hat, so I as thinking I would put a shower cap on first and then the hard hat? Any reason I shouldn’t or any concerns on wearing the hard had 15 days out?

I wore a chainsaw hardhat 15 days post op, sweating all day outdoors, no negative consequences so far. I asked my doc about it specifically and he said two weeks.

Thanks Tater, that’s reassuring to read. I think I’ll wear a disposable shower cap underneath just for hygiene reasons.
