Regular Member Daniel A Posted February 14, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted February 14, 2023 Hello everyone, does anyone know when I can do microneedling after an HT? Is 2 months enough time? I usually do 1mm microneedling but stopped after my HT.
Regular Member Dr. Guncel Ozturk Posted February 16, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted February 16, 2023 As a general guideline, it's recommended to wait at least 2 months after a hair transplant before undergoing microneedling. This is to avoid any potential damage to the newly transplanted hairs. Additionally, the scalp may still be sensitive after a hair transplant procedure, and microneedling could cause discomfort.

That’s interesting. I read that transplanted grafts are put 3-3.5mm below the surface of the skin. So microneedling wouldn’t reach the follicles.
